well whats goin on ebeerybody ?

    No beer.. :(

Drinking my last one, waiting for the convenience store to open. lol

How many have you had? :p

Had a few before I napped. Couldn't sleep very well, and I have the day off. Gonna go get some food anyway so I figure why not grab a case too? Hehe

Does that case looks like a craton filled with two dozen of cans?

Find a 24x7 store nearby... That's the first task I do when I travel to somewhere for a week or so.

There's a 24x7 store 3 blocks from me, but beer sales are illegal between midnight and 6am. It's 5:53am right now.

Its illegal to sell alcohol since 8pm to 8am or 10am in Lithuania, and on Sundays since 3pm :) So you have much more time to buy :D

To bypass these restrictions you stock them up in the cellar...

I have some stock since 15 years ago :D I don't drink much. I even have bear since September I think :) (I only buy in packs of 4)

And you will stick with me ๐Ÿ˜‰

I just happened to take my phone exactly when this happened :D

You my friend is extremely lucky, got something new to share?

Well, during my vacation I have set up Beszel for monitoring all my VMs. Thats really a great tool to get the overview. :) If you noticed when I was asked about the resource usage for Stats page, I used a screenshot from there. I am also considering to set up Uptime Kuma later :)

Beszel is good, i am also thinking of moving to beszel from nezha(it's buggy). As for uptime kuma i have it for last two years and thinking of making a jump to v2 as soon as it's released.... Apparently it coming with mariadb support. So I can just deploy one anywhere I want without much issue for my data.

Oh, then I should wait for v2 :) Don't want to have multiple setups next to each other :)

There's already a beta you can try playing with. Also i deploy mine on fly.io it's reliable and I will prolly setup the v2 on koyeb after migrating old sqlitedb.

At the end of 2024 I have set up a docker VM on my home lab with Portainer. Beszel is also running there, I guess Kuma will go there too. :)

Ohh that sounds good ๐Ÿ‘ any other uptime monitoring for say incase the homelab goes down?

Sadly, not yet :D But Storj would inform me if home lab would go down, because I have some storage assigned there :)

Ohh maybe you can try fly.io in future apparently I am paying a solid 0 for the two instances i have there for last two years.

    We are almost there.

Yeah let's go make it awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž

If there is a giveaway.. then it would be awesome. :D

I agree.... Let's HYPE or rather wait for chef...

There haven't been any giveaways for last two weeks right?

Yeah it's a sad little spam block now.... I don't see much HYPE....

If Chef would appear, there would be too much hype :D

He's probably asleep at the moment. ;)

And probably busy with all the other things a corporate is required to do every year.

I don't know, how it is in US, but here in Lithuania (in general whole EU should do that, but other countries are lacking behind) we have fully legal digital signature. The company I am working for, has its own ERP system (we provide SaaS for that), with all the accounting automated etc. So already several years we have no problems with any of accounting year end stuff. Only the responsible persons have to sign digital documents, that are automatically generated, and all the problems are gone :)

Is there any chance you will leak the source so I can deploy something similar and earn millions? Pretty please ๐Ÿฅบ

:D You don't want to have this headace :D The code is based from 15 years ago, everyone is afraid to touch workflows. We even have a saying "Bug based development". If you find a bug, don't fix it immediately, becose other code might rely on it :D

Sounds like a good headache if it's generating revenue ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Covid helped a lot. Everyone became in need of digital documents. You don't have to go to work to sign a vacation request or any other document. And during Covid everyone was working from home. :)

Lets add it to the TODO list :D

Go go go, let's make the todo list a bit bigger.

I am afraid to open my Chrome on the phone. 200+ tabs for "future projects" :D

At least some have been closed lately. We have bought F11 525xd for my father in law - 20 tabs closed. Beszel deployed - at least one tab closed :D But the tab list is growing faster than closing :D

It's same for me.... I wish I had something to help me with my mess.... Maybe a virtual assistant...

Well, my kids are growing. I hope I am near the peak of the "used up time", so hopefully I will start closing out the "future projects" :D

Closing out or completing the projects?

I've been here for the page 700! :D
