I think render.com, fly.io, and www.koyeb.com are good options to consider, but now they all require a card to be linked.
I was checking render.com and they seem to have a free tier.
Will check others.
Thnx
Does Oracle Cloud on its free tier? Had something in there for a bit, but wasn’t docker (from memory anyway). Quick Google has some articles suggesting it’s an option. Their free tier is enough to spin up one or two tiny servers I believe.
Edit: actually I believe i was using docker now that I think about it. Believe I had PiHole + Wireguard via docker
I have the enthusiast plan on www.koyeb.com. It allows me to create two free Docker containers, but this plan is only available to early registered users. Their UI has always been great! Now they also offer a free plan. As for render.com, when I registered early, I could use one container without credit card verification, but now it's required. However, my container wasn't deleted and is still there, and they use AWS servers. Fly.io has great networking, but the traffic is limited, so if there's a DDoS attack, it could lead to high traffic costs. Fly.io offers 3GB of free persistent storage. By the way, it seems that both Koyeb and Render offer 100GB of free bandwidth.
The registration process is a bit strict, and there's also the possibility of being randomly banned after registering. But it's free, so these issues are just a concern for those who want it.
I don’t love oracles interface for management either. They worked for me however as unlike one or two other options that also offered free compute, I wasn’t geographically restricted with Oracle, or at the very least I was able to host in Australia where I live. Few others were US only and for PiHole (DNS) I wanted something closer to home.
i was able to deploy one Docker container without CC on render.com.
Lets see if it stays put for next 2 weeks.
Thanks
If you need it to stay active, it's recommended to periodically use curl, wget, or similar calls, but how often you do it, you'll have to figure that out yourself. Their free containers are available for 750 hours per month.
24hours/day * 31days/month = 744 hours/month.
So 750 hours is the entire month free.
Guud morning LET, this is my 888th comment.

Hmm, yeah, make sense. Ill need to figure out that. Maybe HetrixTools can help.
