About domains: Now that IncogNET'S default nameservers have changed from
ns1.incoghost.com and ns2.incoghost.com
to
ns.incogdns.st
ns.incogdns.gl
ns.incogdns.vg
ns.incogdns.me
Has this caused breakage for anyone?
I bought some domains, two before the change and two after. The two from before the default NS change are having difficulty resolving DNS records, while the two from after are not.
I have manually tried to set the new default nameservers for the new domains. I'll open a ticket if no luck in 24 hours.
Then I am sorry
So I just did it
Thank you for explain

Old domains didn't come with DNS, you had to ticket in and I'd create a free DirectAdmin account that was basically DNS only. That was the old setup. The ns1/ns2 were just placeholders and not working until the manual creation on the DA cluster. Big PITA from a management point, was no way to automate the creation of the free DA DNSonly (and limited web space) when a domain was processed.
So we ditched that.
For a few months now the new setup has the records created on the nee DNS cluster. You can manage your records in your portal account. May take 5 mjnutes to sync to all slaves.
PM me if something isn't working as expected and I'll take a gander.

Updated our OS list and available ISO versions: https://portal.incognet.io/knowledgebase/11/What-operating-systems-are-available.html Of course, you can still mount your own ISO if you prefer.
Updating the order forms now so that the current OS Template options are visible and so that you can choose one of the available ISOs to mount for a manual installation instead. May just save you a couple clicks by selecting it during the ordering process as opposed to logging into the control panel and mounting it there.
Maaayyyyy add an option for you to opt-in to AUTOMATIC daily backups at an added cost. Right now you get five FREE snapshots, stored offsite, but you have to manually kick these off via the control panel and it's not automated. It's a privacy feature in that we're not backing up your disk image automatically, and it saves us storage cost by not backing up a shit-ton of idle VMs. But some people certainly do use the snapshots, frequently, and others may want to have some peace of mind as well for their production servers, that each night they're getting backed up automatically.
Thoughts? Pricing would likely depend on what plan you have and how many restore points you want. Something I'm considering.

Ok, now you can select paid, automatic off-site backups during the ordering process. All VMs come with free, user-created snapshots (5 snapshots total). But those you have to manually create. Now the option for automatic daily offsite backups exist, with 5 days stored should you need to restore from one of the previous revisions. It's $5/mo on all plans. Probably too much for LET, but I think we'll see some of our direct website sales customers opt in for it. Gives good peace of mind for important stuff.
@ehab hankjønn?
Possible to opt in for existing services? And how does this affect block storage (specifically referring to the larger Black Friday plans)?
Alpine 3.21.0 released.
