What I have is not a 'deal server'. It is their standard product. But I found it on 'LET'. I guess you get what you paid for.
All other options comparable to HH (with 16 GB RAM in Aisa) are probably at least double or more.
4 AMD EPYC Milan core (2 dedicated, 2 fair-shared cores)
16 GB DDR4 RAM
75 GB NVMe Storage
5 TB bandwidth
$15.00 / Monthly
Yeah, but support response time may be half or less.
Services are premium. As long as they work, they do a fantastic job.
But all providers go through crap and things go crazy with failed hardware.
Sometimes this is where @hosthatch needs improvement.
Compared to where they were over 6 years ago or so till now has been a WIP.
Lot of scope to be better with communication.
I think there is something to be said about this weird social contagion on LET that has resulted in several members to be unreasonable supporters of HH, almost cultish.
A production server (not a BF deal) went down for several days and tickets went unanswered.
This is not acceptable if you are running a business and relying on a service provider. There are no two ways about it.
Their core product and their management panel is so good (when it works) that people go blind.
I guess team HH has woken up to 2025 and my production server is up after 4 days of downtime.
My HK promotional server has also been provisioned.
i would suggest you consider Greencloudvps for production. the issue with HH is not so much performance issues with their vps but rather the time taken to respond/reinstate them when it goes down.
but all this can easily be resolved with active backup (and restore).
but imo HH tier is more of a serious personal use grade than one for commercial application.
Check out @onidel good Aussie blokes with infra in that region. Seems it’s a true stack as well, not a random one off server that will go down!

thanks for the mention!
we currently have a presence in Singapore and Sydney, with Amsterdam coming online in a few weeks and the US following shortly after. All our deployments utilise block storage because we understand that even enterprise-grade hardware can fail. In such cases, your VM can be seamlessly relaunched on another node within the cluster.
feel free to DM us if you're looking for services in any of these locations!
@hosthatch instead of arguing with me, accusing me of getting paid by someone and giving away money to those who can compile my forum posts..... You should consider spending time to reply to the customers who aren't even on promotional deal.
I am no body, but these people are your customers and they have regular packages. At least address their concerns from time to time.
It's good to see others noticing it as well. If HH goes down, one way or the other, various members will put the blame on the buyers.
I mean, consider pricing-wise nothing beat Hosthatch at moment. I just paying double nearly-triple tag price on another provider for more or less performance (compute power, support, etc)
If you okay with Singapore and pay more, There much option you could get for better support. I can recommended ExtraVM @MikeA
Thanks for the GCVPS recommendation, @cybertech.
Yes, backups and restores or redundant failovers are helpful, but the main point here is that HostHatch is advertised as a production ready service, which they clearly are not based on my experience in the last 4 weeks.
Here is the spiel from their website:
Support is a part of user experience and lack thereof adds up to the overall user experience and it is very sub par for me right now.
This is a hilarious claim:
The bottomline is that it is not advertised as a personal hobby infrastructure provider, so no, I don't accept that.
I was sold the 24/7/365 human in-house support. I did not get that. No, I did not buy a tier 2 promotional deal server. This is their full-priced product.
You're right, we failed to deliver here, and I am sorry for that. Christmas/New Year period is holidays for everyone, and support is limited to emergencies. This should have been handled better, and will be in the future.
No one is arguing with you. I'm not sure who gave you that impression. I simply pointed out the fact that you've made nearly 50+ negative comments about HH in the past couple of weeks alone, and there might be a reason why. It's a statement, not an argument. I don't argue with angry children who might have alternative agendas.
Maybe they're making those 50+ negative comments because they simply not like your services? Nothing needs to have a hidden agenda.
If I count all my hate messages about registrars and hosting providers you would think everyone pays me.
Perhaps, some people do have a lot of time on their hands. For someone who has never used our service, they definitely seem to know a lot.
If you also make 50+ comments, every two weeks, for each registrar and hosting provider that you have never used but just don't like - I think it might be time to look for better investments of time in your life.
If you’re happy with SG, try us! 😁

Hahahha, nicely said
When I asked a direct question in another thread a couple of weeks ago, he admitted that he has never been a HostHatch customer and has not ordered from this deal. He's just causing all this because "it's a matter of principle": https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4182046#Comment_4182046
He was acting this way in the Inception Hosting thread too, again not a customer, just wanting to stir up trouble.
As far as I can tell, he only has it in for these two companies (despite never having been a customer) and doesn't have a single negative word to say about any other companies with a presence on LET.
No idea what's driving this guy or what principle he thinks he's upholding, but it's certainly not just as simple as not liking the services. Perhaps he's just bitter because he missed the deadline on one of their offer threads sometime. Who knows.
His "principles", it seems, apply only for these two companies.
50+ comments for a provider, whom one never had a service, bitterness seems to be most plausible theory
Why speculate about that? This thread was opened by someone who paid standard pricing and who's VPS was down for 3 days. That's insane, had it been a respectable cloud outside of LET it would have been on the news (exaggeration, but you get the point). That's the story here.
I have no idea why HostHatch always gets a pass from so many members, their panel is beautiful and their deal prices are good so I suppose maybe that's why, but better admit that than try to discredit criticism in a thread about a server being down for 3 days straight.
I totally agree with OP post that he has paid for the service and should have received much better support.
It is just one non-customer who seems to be jumping in all HH related posts. Just check his recent 50 posts.
Yeah, but HostHatch has accused him personally, not just his arguments, but speculated about him getting paid etc (if I recall correctly), so it's probably fueled be feelings in that regard - but that's on HostHatch. A respectable company don't go after criticism in that way IMO.
HostHatch also proceeded to call him a child, further example of non-professional @Clouvider -like behaviour.
My point was -- check his past posts about HH in last three weeks -- before HH made that accusation. And you will see why HH feels that way.
HH made that accusation against him (and me) months ago. It's been ongoing.
Source: My mind (so could be wrong), but I'm fairly sure.
