So, anyway, hopefully my final wall of text...
Great thread(s) again this year! Superbly organised again by @FAT32, and really good to see the delegation to the squad this year, especially @itsTomHarper and @beanman109 for doing so, so much of the practical work in running the giveaways. But really, everyone on the squad was good for keeping people engaged.
All the special in-thread customisations were a lot of fun - we're never going to forget the confetti, the Thanks/Regards/HoHoHo, sliding Calin, background pictures, squad tags, etc. It's been a lot more fun this year, and felt like a cool hang out this year not just being about grabbing all the deals.
The giveaways were crazy this year. I won't try to name the providers now, because if I do I'll end up missing some point, but certainly there's one who's been providing a constant stream of free machines every day or more for so long, I can't even remember when it started. That's some next level commitment!
It's kind of a shame that there were so few actual crazy deals during the event itself, but the post-events stuff seemed to bring out the providers who wanted to play. It's kind of a shame, as I feel more invested with a provider when I pay even $3 for it compared to getting it free. But by the end, there was a great mix of deals and giveaways and when I look at what I've walked away with this year - it's very different to what I've bought in previous years, and it's somehow cooler and felt more fun in the process.

I guess I meant that when people are still clamouring for deals just after you've posted one, it's not really about your deal. It's just that they didn't want that deal, and they want more of something else - and preferably at $3/y, specs don't really matter.
