Thank you for contacting LowEndSupport.
Your waiting time has been doubled.
all current nodes alive?
now, aren't you late to the party??
huhu
jar took over the sinking ship as a very generous gesture. Services will stay online for atleast another year. MikePT is no longer the person to talk to when it comes to MyW, as jar fully took over afaik. That said, given that jar has a family and it's X-MAS time, cut him some slack and maybe accept that you won't get a reply before X-MAS is over for a service that was doomed to die and only due to jar has been kept alive. It is my understanding that jar (due to lifetimes) probably doesn't profit from this at all and has very likely actually lost money. So it'd be more than understandable if he replied at a later point in time and put his family and main business (MXRoute) first.
Have a Merry X-MAS days, you all
I have accounts on LA/DE/SG they are live.
@jar - If tomorrow a vaccine to live forever would be discovered, would you take the jab?
Of course, he needs to maintain those lifetime plans!
100% loss, which is fine. I turned off billing otherwise it would be like a 99% loss. @alento has actually been keeping MyW alive and very much deserves the credit for it. Every failure on it has been mine, every success his.
I would push an old lady to get in that line.
This wasn't your failure. It was mine. I can only thank you and @alento for keeping MyW alive. I put lots of love in that brand, couldn't be happier as I know it's in good hands.
In the movies, when the devil offers this, you get fucked by continuing to age.
Please start billing the customers. give some discount to life timers and start charging. we r ok with that. i just need good service and decent ticket response time.
I'd probably terminate the contract if it comes to this. I see where the sentiment comes from, and I would understand if @jar decided charging existing lifetimes is the way to go forward. Nobody can expect him to keep this thing afloat out of his pocket forever. That said, after moving my main domain/shared to ZAP Hosting Lifetime Shared a while ago already, I'd likely move the rest (= idle hobby projects) in such an event, too. It's mostly idling hobby projects and a throwaway newsletter domain which I use to receive like some emails a year, and maybe send like 5-10 emails a year (roughly). It wouldn't justify for me to pay for this on a recurring basis, when I have other options (like ZAP lifetime, and now thankfully Namecrane Lifetime for email). That said, I will respect whatever decision @jar ultimately makes as I'm sure he'll have to decide how to move forward at some point. I have no doubt ample notice will be given, so I'm sure I'll have enough time to move if it comes to that. It was definitely good while it lasted and I've got back my money's worth multiple times. Thanks @MikeA @jar
@jar
There is a weird error on wat1.wndp.pt.
When trying to setup a backup schedule in Manage User Backups.
It gives an error: Error during Backup Creation.
Even though the same thing works on all other servers.
I assume you have a ticket open for it. Will get to checking it out.
@jar can you check Ticket ID: 541510
It's getting closed automatically unfortunately
@Ympker @jar how to exit MyW services that I don't use, no cost to anybody due to me
simply delete all websites (which you are not using) under your reseller....which clears all resources.
Also, i wish @jar implements a terminate service option in UI.
I would say calculate the previous usage of the accounts and charge first the power users, than check if it is enough for covering the costs. Who still want to use the server, for the great uptime and performance, will pay.
Thanks for pointing this out. I have fixed the settings in WHMCS.
Can you please ping me support email id in dm, first I need to recover the url to login to my account, then password, then delete the service, thank you and @jar and @MikePT @alento
If some or all lifetime customers get another bill to keep the service alive, then it might be nice for those clients to have the option of paying another lifetime fee.
If the only choices are to pay recurring or stop using, then many will exit. Yet some would gladly take the option of paying another lifetime, especially now that jar is in charge.

a simple question : @MikePT will you close it or will you sell our data to @jar as he will continue the services ?
The services are no longer owned by Miguel. Now Jarland has all the services and all clients.
