Yes, Max Endurance is (advertised as) "more enduring" and more expensive.

but there has been some testing on the High Endurance cards that suggests these behave like real SSD's with wear leveling.

All flash products use wear levelling (translation algorithms), otherwise they'd die much, much faster.

P.S.
You're right not to fill that card up fully. 20, 25, or 30% of free space will help it last longer.

I did consider doing that, but it would have been more expensive.

Previous to this, I was using a 2.5" 1TB western digital hard drive (mechanical) that died just before it's warranty expired. I got it replaced, and the replacement died after a few months.
