    Is Hugo PHP based?

there is probably a php alternative. Its a pretty popular design/concept. The static site generation. Theres one for every language at this point

Oh, that as well? Seems like I am the frog stuck in the well.

Jigsaw seems to be a popular one. Im not deep into the php community though

Another term to google. ANother framework like Laravel?

    There goravel https://github.com/goravel/goravel

Maybe this is the one i tried.. its sound familiar. I knew there was something with a similar name. Cant remember if it was go or node that i tried it in

Oh this seems like a GoLang alternative for PHP's Laravel.

yeah im pretty sure thats the thing i tried. The more i look at it, the more familiar it is

Oh yah. I have still to try Laravel.

Will tag you though if there's a deal/GA.

Can i attach that to a phone call some how :)

next project for a rack nerd vps.. Make an API call to Dial peoples phone when they are tagged

Can me done with japier and ifttt. And with huginn or active pieces if self hosting.

those types of services generally cost a decent amount though, right? I remember google voice used to have a way to dial for free with python.. i think they killed that off last time i tried

    Self hosted is the way....

Jigsaw is like hugo for static sites and works with blade template engine of laravel.

So much information. Most of it doesn't make sense to me. Wish I can come back next year to you guys and do these term drops. B)

Static site generators are actually pretty simple usually. You make soeme mark down files that represent the web pages, run a command and now you have a bunch of static content like a normal website (for the most part)

When you say static, do you mean a page that can't have dynamically generated content at all, like some MySQL grabbing and stuff?

Yesh you got it, or generate the pages if there are any changes

    Ow ok! That makes sense.

yeah pretty much. so its really an uber safe website. Its just serving up content. People cant inject stuff etc. Basically as if you just made a bunch of HTML files and served those as your website. People use them alot for blogs and such.

Ahh ok. So, reduces the attack surface. Hadn't thought of it as a secure option. Now, it makes sense why people would wanna use it.

Oh ok. Thank you for clarifying it for me. How many languages can you comfortably code in?

I feel uncomfortable in every language that wants me to code.

    what about scratch

Is that a language as well?

it is but made for children!

Oh, I see. Didn't know about this. BTW, check this out as well - https://github.com/DulLabs/bhai-lang

oh wow. I will have to pass on that one :)

    Bsically for Hindi speakers.

    i learned some new words!

Might help when you visit India. Code atranslator in Bhailang for use in India

The only thing is that its more limited in what you can do. I think you can embedd other dynamic content, i.e you could embed like a comment box but it would be hosted offsite and be 3rd party managed, like disgus(?). Not as many cool things but in reality it does most of what a lot of people are sometimes looking for.

Oh yes, got the idea. SO, security is the priority not flexibility and more features.
