    Make it random. Every drop has a 20% chance of resetting the price to $20. Max 10 drops each flash sale.

    I have more interesting idea. Release one decipher code every hour with random discounts. The one that solves it first get the chance to decide whether to use it or drop it to community.

    The seller posts the price, say $20.03

    If no one posts " Buy $20.03" in an hour, seller lowers price to say $19.13.
    If no one posts "Buy $19.13" in an hour price is dropped again.
    Repeat until item is sold.
    "Dutch auctions" are a real thing.
