    REQUEST TO ALL

Remove the quotes if its getting longer. Like if its 3 or more leves, just edit it.. and remove all the above comments.

This helps reduction in 100s of counter numbers, and makes it easier to check real tags/mentions.

    Thank you.
    Regards.

is there an easy way to do this beside erasing it manaully? Like can you change a quote setting or hold ctrl click on quote or something to shrink the size?

Nope I think. I checked all the settings, didn't found anything to reduce that.

If on pc just select the text and quote ๐Ÿ˜„

Just quoting works that may. I am talking about automatic way to limit the quote for may be 2 leves or something.

No, if a quote loop gets too big, start a new fresh comment and maybe tag the person who you were quoting.

That would be a nice feature for dadeveloper to add into his plugin... upon clicking quote trim out the content of comment box to limit to "n" most recent

Anybody got link to his plugin?

    found it!

Mechanical and slim profile doesn't go good with each other ๐Ÿ˜” the mechanical switches themselves are big. If you are looking for tkl one than it's a different story altogether.

well it's just that I don't like the sticky feeling and I want the clicky feeling maybe somewhat like laptop keyboards honestly I dunno ๐Ÿ˜‚

You won't find any cheap mechanical keyboard which is actually slim, I mean the slim switches are rare and not mainstream. The best I can recommend is redragon ir just go scissors keyboard if you are comfortable.

Pretty sure you have. What's the worst one you have seen? I am not talking about the Rs. 100 ones sold on the sides of streets. I mean, something that is overpriced yet delivers no value.

The only bad keyboards are the ones that come with mass market pc these days

@TrK is the expert there as well. He did recommend TVS keyboards to me on the BF thread, if you are into mechanical.

It has to be Logitech.... G pro switches are gimmick..... You can't find any..... End up buying a new one..... Waste of money and more plastic......

Oh yes. Never used them infact. It's become a common rpactice in India to couple almost every PC purchase with free accessories - cheap keyboard and mouse. Moreover, they also give you free antivirus for life, and that's nothing but Microsoft Security Essentials, as though they are doing us a favour.

I believ you did mention this vaguely earlier as well. I haven't yet used their mechanical KBs yet. Their normal drum-based ones, the budget series has served me well for the past few years. But, for mechanical, as you recommended TVS seems to be the best option for a beginner like me.

  • On the topic of keyboards, does anyone ever pop keys off their keyboard and wish they had never done it and never seen the things they have just seen?... I regret it everytime. Popped some keys off my mechaninal with cherry mx reds just now and i feel like i need to bathe.

Why not clean the keyboard thoroughly so it looks beautiful whenever you pop out the keys....

I do every once in a while. The top of it looks clean. Its easy to hide the mess underneath because you just cant really see it under the keys so it just accumulates.

This time I saw something sticking out so i popped a key off and that unleashed the start of a horror show. I need to do a deep clean soon
