That vps is not suited for any RDP .. whether Digi or not

However, this provider only has a Windows image available, and the other Linux images have issues—they can't be accessed via SSH. There's nothing I can do about it. I've tried many methods, but this is the best I can manage. Although there is another way, I don't want to bother with it anymore. This provider is not on LET.🤣

Then here are the options

install Windows Server 2019 that is most resource optimized
Disable any unneeded services
Uninstall any unnecessary components
Set fixed virtual memory value
Set low priority to background tasks

in idle state Windows RDP should not have over 3-5% cpu utilization … that is my simple test if vps is strong enough for windows

For most vps, including @host_c and one other storage vps, the cpu utilization is around 2-3% in idle state with just standard background task and RDP session running.

I'd say don't expect stellar performance with a sub $10 storage vps which is 100% massively oversold.

This may be the way forward as well.

Plus others are probably hammering the servers and yabsing and trying to upload the data.

Try in a few days and true color would show up whether this is temp or permanent feature
