Storj does use some sort of erasure coding system. If im correct storj splits the file in 80 parts and only 27 parts are needed to rebuild the file.
It most definitely is.
BTW if you don't mind sharing, where are you from? If I havent said it enough, I am from India.
I prefer forums and sites like stackoverflow, because content changes regulary.
unreliable.... frequent timeouts and some gets data loss in return for cheap storage. cheapear? yes they are the cheapest one can find right now.
ohh good to know, will check them out
Yah, that makes perfect sense. Better not to waste storage on static websites given most people won't use it for that
Talking about wayback machine... let's see LET from 2008. That was the specs. What you could do with this machine back then?
I am from India too I thought you understood it from the way I was talking
everyone here is indian? wow
I dunno about that I thought you were from Brazil
hahahaha yes im brazilian im talking about everyone else
Stack overflow pretty toxic imo
Difficult to do that on the internet, dude. BTW, really good to see another Indian. So, we got about 4 Indians, 1 American (US), 1 Brazillian among active members ont eh thread, for now. Not sure where @BasToTheMax is from
Also a problem would be that cloudflare somtimes requires me to do a captcha, however as i am using puppeteer, i can't do those (as everything is running automated).
someone said that 20 dollars yearly for 1tb is too unrealistic. Do you guys think that as well?
Static sites are just way too limiting i feel
I am from the Netherlands :}

Good to know
Given our population and enhanced opportunities for access to internet, are you even rmsurprised?
His name is Ben, so he's probably american
I don't know about back then, but barely anything these days with that. Look how far we've come
hahahahaha not really
I thought the same as well. I may have mixed you 2
But, they helped me a lot. They have been my go to since most questions I have, are already answered. But, you are right, some SO members can be unnecessarily brutal to beginners
A lot but it's a huge population so not surprising
