The Error: unable to open display is likely because you don't have X, I don't know if it works for Wayland but it's because your dedi doesn't have a graphical desktop, my bad.

It used to have two IPv4 AMS, but only one core. The price fluctuated between 7 to 8 dollars! However, after applying available coupons on LES, it even appeared that for just a little over 4 dollars per year, you could get the usage rights for two IPv4 addresses. But Virm*** fixed the algorithm, and it may no longer appear.

Where can I find the coupon? I checked every comment in both threads but didn't see any. There were some for oldtimers.

I am getting my heebie jeebies just seeing the S. Korean crash landing (almost all perished) and the other Canadian airlines that had a landing gear fail but no casualties

Wth is happening 😳? Not sure if I can step on a plane...

Granted it is much safer in terms of numbers compared to road transport in the grand scheme of things.

One more thing to consider is that it's virmach, you have to pray that node will not lock and that he will not be MIA anytime soon. Like earlier this year.

If you're fine with that virmach is ok'ed for hobbyist. At least virmach has better uptime that dedipath and nexusbytes

I think they're... pretty good but only for testing? You could burst to 100% for a few minutes and still not violate avg 30% CPU hourly policy. Better than PaaS services as you own root permission, is always available, persistent.

They've been around for almost a decade and are creative with the plans. Never knew I would play gacha with cloud servers.

It's likely Vi***ch is this ultra low end because that's their business model and they're quite successful with that.

I agreed that virmach is in business long enough that they won't deadpool soon. But virmach gacha is something...

If you're lucky enough you'll be in stable node with decent uptime.

Never tried virmach before but I just purchased the 1/1/20 Ryzen NVMe for $7.68. Wish it had IPv6 but the two IPv4 addresses is def cool!

Look for when they have AMS. AMS has ipv6.

Ok thanks, I'll keep an eye out for when they have one there.

They have one now for 8.08/y ams.

Thank you! I just picked it up for $7.94
