    Yeah I think so.

    With IPv4 though they’re a really shitty deal.

    But IPs are flexible so if you need IPv4 for some one-time things you can assign, do what you gotta do, remove.

    To get IPv4 on IPv6-only server sometimes I install Cloudflare WARP

    It’s easy, they have their own CLI if I recall correctly, no API directly needed

    Also don’t forget to change from block storage to local storage, block’s more expensive I think (but is the default)

    Lots of similarly spec'ed offers are around in LET. Based on the comments I've read so far, I think you'd better go for a storage vps (even HDD with less RAM).

    That what I did this month to fix stardust idler which has old ubuntu that I wont bother to upgrade, yet. few minutes ipv4 (they rounded them up) then delete.

    I think they're... pretty good but only for testing? You could burst to 100% for a few minutes and still not violate avg 30% CPU hourly policy. Better than PaaS services as you own root permission, is always available, persistent.

    It's likely Vi***ch is this ultra low end because that's their business model and they're quite successful with that.

    I agreed that virmach is in business long enough that they won't deadpool soon. But virmach gacha is something...

    If you're lucky enough you'll be in stable node with decent uptime.

    Never tried virmach before but I just purchased the 1/1/20 Ryzen NVMe for $7.68. Wish it had IPv6 but the two IPv4 addresses is def cool!

    Look for when they have AMS. AMS has ipv6.

    I got blacklisted by hetzner for not paying the last bill after server closure request. Balance was 6.64 €.

    Like 5 years later I paid the remaining balance with no interest charged and they un-blacklisted me (hopefully)

    Never again.

    I am experiencing a whole different world with arm servers... It's like a leper colony. Different architecture, can't migrate stuff easily. U gotta learn to live differently albeit it's cheaper.

    I got blacklisted by hetzner for not paying the last bill after server closure request. Balance was 6.64 €.

    Like 5 years later I paid the remaining balance with no interest charged and they un-blacklisted me (hopefully)

    Never again.

    & even in this msg @Hetzner_OL goes onto give generic references 🤣 like man take some responsibility and get @beanman109's account sorted. Typical of these big corporations. They turn into govt like buereuacracies.

    Best they could do is double the amount what he owes to Hetzner.

    i used to have a hetzner account, verified the same way
    it got closed for an unpaid invoice of 0.25 euro

    Meanwhile: I logged in to Scaleway like a week ago and paid a invoice from 2017. No issues, no fee added

    They did charge a verification fee for the card though for like 10x the invoice. Don’t think it was refunded but didn’t check recently :(

    i've always wanted to try scaleway but the boxes are always cheaper from oneprovider so i end up just buying through them

    I am experiencing a whole different world with arm servers... It's like a leper colony. Different architecture, can't migrate stuff easily. U gotta learn to live differently albeit it's cheaper.

    If you will call it " NY special" the best we can offer is 7$/year.

    Edit: And it should include IPv4, apart from @emgh's VPS which only should have IPV6
