Looking for even cheaper storage vps

e2bs2k1e2bs2k1 Member
edited December 2024 in Requests

I need a cheaper storage even than servarica(29$/Y).
Here is the (custom?)specs I need.
1 vcore
10G boot drive
(at least) 512 MB ram
(at least) ~300G storage
(at least) 3TB bandwidth
1Gbps port (shared)speed or any other that no limitation to 100mbps for vm.
(at least) 1 ipv6 address (better if have ipv4)
yearly paid
closet to USA if possible.

I don't really need so much space, 1TB space is overkill for me. So I want a much cheaper one with fewer space(and price duh).

  • I'm interested in one as well. But with 1GB on my end and with IPV4 (no IPV6 needed). 20-25 dollars yearly max.

Edit: out of stock ATM but they usually restock. AZ has a boot drive, the others don't

25 USD one? At least it's a bit cheaper.
    Sadly there's no stock.

Digirdp was throwing in 500 GB offers. But those were flash sales, hence gone within minutes at best.

    (at least) 3TB bandwidth
    closet to USA if possible.

    And ... in India.
    Also less bandwidth - 1 TB/m.

Host-C made a great offer in one thread (1TB, 20 dollars yearly). But he's been offline these past days. It was not an limited offer, apparently.

  • I've been trying to make contact with them in the past days but no success sadly...

  • DigiRDP is having $17 a year 1TB if you are good with India location

Thanks. However due to the usage of my,1 TB bandwidth and high latency may be not acceptable unfortunately.

Yeah I hope when they come back they will answer me.

  • How about our new provider @DediRock ?

I'd consider it if the DirectAdmin Storage Boxes plan support connect to my mainframe via openvpn and work as nfs server.

Sorry, don't have 1TB of HDD chilling for this at the moment. Only NVMe.. Sadly 1TB NVMe is out of your budget range.. :disappointed:

Hey, would a small Ryzen VM with an iSCSI storage or NFS mount be okay?

NFS is okay for me. But bandwidth must at least be 2TB, And network prefer G ports.
I need to mount to my mainframe for realtime R/W.

(I don't know how iSCSI would work over internet :'( )

I can offer you a Ryzen VM with NVMe storage and 3200MHz DDR4 RAM:
    https://hstprov.com/index.php?rp=/store/pvds/pv-config would
    DM me for a 50% discount on VM's <5eu/mo and 25% on VM's <7.5eu/mo
A yearly commitment will have a 10% discount on top of the 50%/25% off.
A yearly commitment on all other configurations (including dedicated servers and the storage boxes) will have a 20% discount.
Additional HDD storage is possible with a storage box, which can be connected with iSCSI or NFS, SMB, etc. Those are connected with 1G, so you should be fine.

2TB bandwidth is no problem

Do I have to order a vps from you to use the storage box?
Or can I just order the storage box and use it on other provider?
If a vps from you is mandatory to use the storage box, then a tiny one used as server should be enough. The price show from the configurator seems out of my budget.

    5.58 * 12 * 0.5 * 0.9=30.132 eur
already out of budget even only with vps itself.

Yeah I think latency is important when going for storage vps. For example I got a EU storage vps but I'm located in APAC so I couldn't really make full use of my storage vps in EU.

Offers I put in requests threads are not large scale and sadly don't work for others. They are one-time offers from me. Sorry :(
