IRCTC - Irritating RCTC. I personally know no end consumer who has successfully booked a Tatkal ticket until afew years ago.

Now the premium tatkal that keeps increasing price every minute. You can pay more and get here.

fastest 7 minutes and average around 24 minutes  providing you are given the choice to approve the transfer instead of usual 5 day waiting window

Can you imagine the government service all filled with Google ads? I mean why just why? Aren't they milking us enough?

May be a backend deal with google for data sharing. Usage patterns and everything.. :p

Maybe it's just gives bad impression overall... Govt services should be ad free.

Everybody knows it except our old politicians.

Wait... Do US govt services have ads?

Nope.. India. Not all sites, but some.

And almost every app.... They are annoying ffs.

They just want to monetize everything. They know the demand. These are not optional services, we need to use them anyway.. so.

Imagine booking a train ticket and see ads while doing so... it's annoying and turns me off i buy tickets from hdfc due to this

I hate the monopoly of irctc in the first place. That service is bad, and they block accounts as well for no reasons. And sometimes it logs you out while booking.. :/

those issues are known without fixes... happens all the time, using other vendors is fine

Still you need irctc account. Wherever you want to book , you need irctc account AFAIK. this changed?

Samba is good as a media server. Infact, used that alone as my media and file server solution before switching to Jellyfin for media server. It make arranging and sorting the media very easy.

that is but i am not into streaming media from home, rest is handled by OTT and a JioTV instance running on my homelab, it's enough for now i guess

Oh yes, Premium tatkal is a nuisance. But, I hope for better days. the Govt. is trying to icnrease the number of trains in the coming years to reduce waiting list. Completely removing waiting lists is decades away, but, reducing them seems plausible in the next few eyars.

JioTV is a free TV channel app by a prominent telecom in India. It's actually meant for only their customers (you login using a Jio SIM number) and get access to many TV channels for free. But, I guess, they recently started allowing other SIM holders in as well.

That is true, though, the VPS provider technically is hosting copyrighted media on their datacenters, on your behalf. So, they are as much responsible for the data, as you. Many won't bother, while others might probe user data to just to be sure that their users aren't hosting anything illegal.

rigged... hostinger was always a bad news to me never used them, they also gave me a recurring plan for around 900/year to test out their cPanel based service didn't bother with them :joy:

Got a good deal with them last year, iirc. That's my first and prolly the last purchase with them.

sed, they lost one more profitable client due to LET :joy:
