    When will they be up for buying? will there be any significant price increase this time?

    Nvidia still owns a lot of real estate on laptops, where they are preferred more over AMD and Intel GPUs. So, it's kinda virtual monopoly over there. I am guessing it will be similarly priced to 4060 mobile when it launched

    I would've thought amd would've been the go to there given its cheaper and laptops are pretty expensive realtive to desktops. Would've thought it Helps keep the costs while still getting a decent GPU

    It is a good thing if you get both AMD CPU and AMD GPU, I believe they call it AMD advantage. Even without that, it's good enough.

    I wanted to do this with my ROG Strix, but the AMD+AMD model wasn't the one being discounted by $700 unfortunately. :(

    wait so i been meanign to ask.. what STRIX model did you get? You can buy the individual components in the product line or buy a full built pc or laptop with all "STRIX" line components right? Do you just have some pieces that are from the STRIX line or is it a full strix desktop or lappy?

    indeed. I dont know if you've noticed but things have grinded to a near halt today. I think everyone is just tired of being overstimulated by the bantering going on in here ;)

    If things kept on keeping on we probably would've blown past 600 atleast. Nice change of pace though, people finally able to breath some fresh air and relax

    I did! I dont know how i managed it.. Im not really too interested in the lappy. I do a lot of gaming on a desktop and I dont really need to be mobile. I like ther performance of desktops way better and havent had good luck with longevity with laptops.

    More interested in the telly, i think thats the only one i'd really have use for. I was pretty worried because theres a big 3 way battle for the lappy that will push me below the telly which is at spot #3.

    I told @xpress7 and @TrK that if i end up in the lappy spot, and one of them on the TV slot, if they can figure out a way to get deliever of the lappy rather than credits, I would be on board with trading the lappy for the telly. Just need to work out the logistics of the swap as well with dustin.

    Yup, refill distilled water properly at regular times, give it a clean from time to time and all the works. But, fortunately, it's still under warranty.

    How many years you've been using it? usual life is around 4 years I think.

    Only 2 years. Got 4 years of warranty.

    Btw whats exactly happening? sometimes its the inverter having some problems, not the battery.

    You guys are the experts, it seems. Just got in touch with the dealer. He seems to think the inverter is the most probably cause of the issue as well. He asked me to look for any error codes next time it happens and get back to him.

    thats an expensive plan.. are they really going to shove that thing into a laptop? I cant imagine how that thing would manage heat. Wouldnt be much of a laptop

    I stopped following them when i stopped being able to afford them. Holding on to what i have for as long as I can but im well beyond the warranty at this point. Should die at any moment... did some minor minig on it too so its got some battle scars

    Just pool mining with my current GPU. It probably reduced its life expectancy by some amount

    Web dev.. Full stack.. so i do all the things you mentioned.. not expert though. Just get the things done. :D
