    well.. that might explain why mine would always die so fast. I never topped them off with water. I thought because its a closed battery it should have everything it needs to just keep running til the death of it

    May be they are different models. We have some indicators on them, which shows the level of water in them. You may contact your service center to confirm about it though.

    Nvidia still owns a lot of real estate on laptops, where they are preferred more over AMD and Intel GPUs. So, it's kinda virtual monopoly over there. I am guessing it will be similarly priced to 4060 mobile when it launched

    Sure, go for it. But, wait around for a few more weeks befor ejuming the gun. AMD and Intel might also have surprises.

    I actually heard some good things about intels latest GPU. They have a lot to figure out over there but if somehow they end up not tanking the company i think they'll be a good contender eventually. just gonna take a while

    They are good for gaming. For VFX work, I am not sure, though, cause Nvidia still has those CUDA cores and CUDA acceleration on the Adobe suite and such apps.

    10% performance improvement, 20% price increase. That's NVIDIA. :/

    nah it took me too long to figure out what was going on. I caught a giveaway towards the end where you had to thank someone and get a chance for a really cheap vps, cant remember the vendor. Dont appear to have won that one though.

    I'll be keeping an eye out though when they bring that one out. Some of the deals seemed pretty good. I hold rack nerd gang will forgive me if i add another vendor to my pool ;)

    Oh the thank giveaways were there throughout the entire mega thread. I didn't win any this time though. :D

    yeah i was just really lost as it was my first time in there. Feel like i am better prepared for next time now. I was just waiting for someone to post giveaways in the same fashion that dustin does but it never happend. half the time i opened the thread too it was just a wall of images.

    Yup, refill distilled water properly at regular times, give it a clean from time to time and all the works. But, fortunately, it's still under warranty.

    How many years you've been using it? usual life is around 4 years I think.

    Only 2 years. Got 4 years of warranty.

    Btw whats exactly happening? sometimes its the inverter having some problems, not the battery.

    thats an expensive plan.. are they really going to shove that thing into a laptop? I cant imagine how that thing would manage heat. Wouldnt be much of a laptop

    I stopped following them when i stopped being able to afford them. Holding on to what i have for as long as I can but im well beyond the warranty at this point. Should die at any moment... did some minor minig on it too so its got some battle scars

    Honestly haven't had the opportunity to test, but I liked the idea more for using linux, as AMD driver support is a lot better.

    I have access to one and couldn't see any difference, it was slow in blender but somehow fast enough in cad.... Tested windows only the guy who owns it wouldn't let me install Linux 😁

    Just pool mining with my current GPU. It probably reduced its life expectancy by some amount
