i see.. i searched for it on a search engine and was just finding the uber beefy PC version of it. Couldnt imagine sticking that in the laptop. IF i do recall though there are some models of laptop that are essentially a squashed down PC.. Wonder if those use full size versions of the GPU
Only 2 years. Got 4 years of warranty.
MAKE SOME NOISE FOR A RACK NERD GA AND FLASH SALE!
Just now checked. Specs seems so good. I wish I will get one in the new year..

I stopped following them when i stopped being able to afford them. Holding on to what i have for as long as I can but im well beyond the warranty at this point. Should die at any moment... did some minor minig on it too so its got some battle scars
Yah, my hands have gone back to normal since yesterday.
I would've thought amd would've been the go to there given its cheaper and laptops are pretty expensive realtive to desktops. Would've thought it Helps keep the costs while still getting a decent GPU
Whats this discord channel? Someone else mentioned it eariler but i havent seen a link
ah got it. Growing up generators and backups for the whole house didnt seem tat popular. I ahve started to notice a lot more of them now though. Its especially who has them and doesnt when a big storm rolls through and the power goes out for a bit at night.
Oh yes, there are brands like Origin PC known to use desktop CPUs on laptops, not sure how a desktop GPU can be fit inside a laptop though. An eGPU is the best option on a laptop with Thunderbolt if you plan on using a desktop GPU
Let's make some noise.
Sure, go for it. But, wait around for a few more weeks befor ejuming the gun. AMD and Intel might also have surprises.
ah thanks! There was another post her made where it did show every image.. i remember seeing that get dropped by him at one point. That one I cant find but i wonder if thats the same one he was referring to when he said he'll make a final gallery
Then the highend models of previous gens may get some love of price cuts.
Mine may still need a day or 2. I think i may have CTS surgery in my future
It is a good thing if you get both AMD CPU and AMD GPU, I believe they call it AMD advantage. Even without that, it's good enough.
Not a Discord channel, just his profile. You can search for BlazinDimes on Discord if you wanna add him.
Actually doing some sleuthing i just found it!

I just tried appendign gallery to the end. EZ
thank goodness for a logical tree structure on his part
I feel like that idea got cut back during the crypto craze. Things pretty much back to normal? That was the other problem i had i guess. Trying to upgrade during crytpo frenzy
I actually heard some good things about intels latest GPU. They have a lot to figure out over there but if somehow they end up not tanking the company i think they'll be a good contender eventually. just gonna take a while
Yah, he also shared the final gallery link in the BF thread. DOn't have access to it though
So in a way, stalk him somewhat on discord
Thats alright though i'll leave him be. Thought maybe there was a LET channel or RN channel
Oh yes, that you can expect. You sure you wanna get a laptop though? A desktop PC with the earlier Gen GPU would be better I guess, esp. if planning to go for Intel GPU.
Most computer professionals are prone to that though.
They are good for gaming. For VFX work, I am not sure, though, cause Nvidia still has those CUDA cores and CUDA acceleration on the Adobe suite and such apps.
He's a friendly dude. I got in touch with him, he's gonna help me maybe get OpenWrt on an unsupported router ina few months.
Oh the thank giveaways were there throughout the entire mega thread. I didn't win any this time though.
You can definitely add more idlers to your portfolio.. no probs there.
10% performance improvement, 20% price increase. That's NVIDIA.
