LOL Get a VPS.... *tsk tsk
32GB DDR3 RAM, 8x4TB SATA HDD, 2x512GB SSD-cache, LSI RAID card with BBU, Dual E5-2620, and a /8 IPv4 all for $10.
you can get some from delimitervps if they have stock, but only if you pay yearly, and their reputation is not that stable yet among providers, so there is a risk factory. Currently Joe's datacenter has a 16$ deal, thats the closest second that i know of.
If anyone knows other possibilities (maybe some heck of a christmas deal) don't hesitate to post it!
Tempting but for $10 id want double the RAM.
Do you have a link to that deal? Interested in which specs it has
Good joke.
$16 P4/Atom Server w/ 1GB Ram, 120GB HDD, 1 IPs, 2TB Transfer

There is servermania 150GB HD for 88$ per year with 4GB RAM and 2 TB bandwidth and its 4 cores!
BuyMyDedi
dont give him any more ideas lol
At least BuyMyDedi isn't a name ripped off of an existing provider.
that was a good idea. maybe will use it as my brand when i build my datacenter.
$4 Dedi NYC location. Very low specs...
Sorry, extra hdd/RAM/additional IPs are not offered with the $4 dedi
We don't accept PayPal or credit cards. Only payment methods accepted are A. $4 worth of (unused) US postage stamps or B. $4 worth of candy bars, mailed in an unmarked envelope to our post office box.
Buy time machine and then buy KS2G from OVH.
Or buy time machine and get server from the future, from Marineris Technologies LLC on Mars.
How much with 10 Gbps unmetered?
About tree fiddy.
I wonder why everyone seems to be so falling over themselves to try being "oh so funny" in this thread, a dedi for $10 is not impossible:

8 EUR = 10.94 USD
not to mention the 4 EUR/mo "2013 launch" KS2G that many people bought and still have.
Never owned a dedicated server before, but was thinking about getting a cheapo one just for kicks. This might seem like a weird question, but do most dedicated servers have sound hardware of some sort? Example: Realtek HD Audio on the boards? Haven't looked into what kind of hardware is exactly used in dedicated boxes, but some of the lower end ones (Atom?) have similar to desktop boards right?
If anyone wants to educate me on this stuff, feel free :P
"Most" certainly don't. Some might, from hosters who use stock desktop hardware and a non-customized BIOS.
E.g. my OVH server has this motherboard: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/desktop-motherboards/desktop-board-d425kt.html but there is no sound device present in "lspci", it's either not soldered on, and the board is a custom batch by Intel, or just disabled in the customized OVH BIOS.
Why do you need it for? I can't think of any scenario where you couldn't just disable sound in your application (game server?..).
It might just be disabled in the OVH kernel, I've seen this before on my server.
First of all, I am offended that you think I am running the OVH kernel;
second, hate to break it to you, but disabling anything in the kernel does not make it disappear from 'lspci'.
There is no sound device in 'lspci' on that server.
turnkey internet has some nice offers too:
Cyber Monday / Black Friday Special #5
$15/month (regular price $59/month) |
http://turnkeyinternet.net/cybermonday/dedicated-servers/
This is a close one to 10$-s
Extra ip how much
I don't know it, i just found this deal on wht, and thought someone would be interested. Contact turnkey sales and ask them.
That looked like a great deal...until I looked up reviews and came across stuff about their billing/collection practices. I'd rather be safe than sorry and will definitely avoid them.
