    Postgres seems much more lightweight than PHPMyAdmin. Gotta try it out someday.

    postgrest and mariadb both are different, my use case mostly goes with mariadb postgres for some js stuff where i don't need that much of data unlike mariadb.

    Yah. They somehow overcharge and fail to deliver the bare minimum in terms of after sales support. Don't understand what their strategy is.

    Sounds like a good enough reason as any to avoid in that case

    never was their customer to begin with so won't judge them and i hardly require customer support so if the service is good you got my loyalty....

    Same. I guess theres no reason to cast judgement without having actual experience. Racknerd has been kicking butt for what i need so i have no need to evaluate or move anywhere else

    i have played wither games but i honestly like elder scrolls series due to their unique ideas in each game, and guess what all their games are connected. Bethesda recently released star field and man i do want to play it badly...

    I will defnittely try the Elder scrolls then. About the withcer, basically I am addicted to the music, and the scenic places.. I spent lot of time in Skellige. Just to enjoy the music and locations..

    habits, i was in ncr last month and we had meetings everyday in morning outside delhi, me and my friend couldn't get an ounce of sleep more like 56 hours....

    that sounds draining both physically and mentally

    always happy to help, there are other db servers as well, typically monogodb and postgres are more flexible than mariadb and can scale better for me mariadb is serving just too much of my infra.... don't have time or patience to migrate everything over.

    Me as well. Moved to MariaDB a few years ago from MySQL. Stayed with it, cause it serves my purposes well, and is slightly faster than MySQL in some cases. Will have to try Postgres one of these days.

    you will instantly notice the difference specially since postgres supports much more indexing types than mariadb and of course the scalability....

    Yup. I am also planning to use it for the shop plan I told you before.

    sounds like a plan, i would also suggest leveraging redis or something better for in memory caching, you get better response times.

    i usually watch everything on the monitor, the tv is for decoration :smile:

    i have a similar setup. Small tv and small monitor but monitor slightly better. Hope to change that soon

    How do you manage a whole day with just r hours of sleep. I can do that for 2 weeks maximum.

    habits, i was in ncr last month and we had meetings everyday in morning outside delhi, me and my friend couldn't get an ounce of sleep more like 56 hours....

    Oh I see. But, it's not good to do it for prolonged periods

    i drop dead when i see the bed so it's manageable and ofcourse if you getting married i will be there to cheer you for the entire night of the function :smile:

    We will all be there to cherr you on. Also if it ever happens consider saving a table just for the racknerd gang!
