Should I just use Redis Object Cache plugin for WordPress, or should I manually setup Redis for Wordpress?

try w3 total cache or litescache if on ols/litespeed webserver.

Nah, Took your recommendation and happy with Nginx now. Loving it infact. Went with the Redis Object Cache plugin. Just completed setting it up.

Nginx is cool. Thats the one i use. LEMP stack.

The only difference is I don't do DB on same server for some reason ๐Ÿ˜‚

Me too for big ones. DB server, and webserver. For small customers, well, they don't spend money.

I dump them on shared hosting I sell being in sg and eu.

Ha ha. For somewhat paying customers? Indian servers?

I have an HYD location but I only promise 99% uptime in India and limited bw ๐Ÿ˜‚

Which provider in Hyd? and why 99%? B/W we know it.. no need to talk

Oracle.... ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Pay as you go utilising free arm instance and it's messed up now. It's up and been running for 800 days and counting, I think I will do a fresh reinstall next month....

Its working? i read they delete instances suddenly without any notice

800 days of uptime, and if you are on pay as you go plan they are good. Also don't do anything illegal and you are pretty much good to go.

    Fiar enough.

    If doing Woocommerce then perhaps...

Woocommerce itself is a bad idea.

But it works if it works......

I don't know, I don't like it somehow. But normal customers feels different may be. Once I used OpenCart, magenta etc for testing.. But somehow, woo feels heavy

It is heavy, but if you strip the front end and use it as backend things changes drastically. After the introduction of wpgraphql even I find myself tempted ๐Ÿ™‚

And you need to build a front end of site?

That's how it goes, build one in vue or react and you get one heck of a fast web shop.

In that case, we have lots of options.

    Both are Javascript derivatives right?

Frameworks in javascript.. like laravel, cakephp etc for php..

Cool.. you'll use it for more prjects.

Using on 3 projects for now, on the same server. Will add for more where there are constant MYSQL calls
