    Yeah that's my 2019 HP 15Z, Ryzen 5 1050ti. Not a bad little rig for $450!

    "Not a bad" is an understatement. That laptop had great thermal management (both hardware and software) for the price it retailed for.

    Oddly enough the reviews from Best Buy said the exact opposite, but I snagged it anyway and mine is excellent still to this day. Probably fixed the cooling issue with a BIOS update by the time I purchased it, I guess the fans weren't kicking in when they should have been?

    I was able to play Cyberpunk 2077 on it with no problems when it released, when people with much higher end hardware were complaining of constant problems, so I was happy with my choice.

    I see, maybe you got one of the very first generations. Pavillion series you own was later famous among gamers for badass thermal management.

    My first laptop was compaq. 2GB ram, pentium. 5kg weight.

    Whatever happened to Compaq?!

    Absorbed by HP.

    They're still an active brand though. Compaq

    Actually they decided to give the holiday on 31st instead, as per most employees request.

    Chitree! have not seen you in a while! Theres a balance ot be found anywhere in ife. Some peoples scales have more weights on either end and thus can be distrubted differently

    If business is good, maybe I'll upgrade and offer up my used one next year in some kinda of raffle. Would be easier to get a used model through customs I imagine!

    I have trouble reading reviews because it seems most often people leave reviews to complain. I do my best to try to leave good reviews too because they seem to be skewed so often.

    Yep, more often than not people only leave a review when something is wrong unfortunately.

    True that. We don't usually give positive reviews when something is working properly, but if something goes wrong we will immediately give a poor rating.
