Linveo VPS Review: A Disappointing Experience

I purchased an AMD KVM VPS (4GB) from Linveo on August 29, 2024, hoping for reliable service, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Here's a breakdown of the issues I faced:
Frequent Downtime
September 19, 2024: The VPS went down, and I had to raise a ticket.
September 26, 2024 (11:49 AM): The VPS was down again. Linveo responded at 12:01 PM, claiming, "The internet is not down for these servers. Google's traffic is not reaching our ASN right now." A completely unsatisfactory explanation!
December 4, 2024 (6:22 AM): Another outage, and they admitted, "Our Dallas datacenter is currently offline. The DC is working on finding the issue and resolving it."
Unresolved Networking Issues
December 15, 2024 (11:10 AM): The VPS went down yet again, and this time, I discovered that the IP was unreachable from my home internet. I raised the issue with my ISP, who confirmed it was a problem with Linveo's network.
Linveo failed to address the problem and closed my ticket (#21763) without providing a solution. Their response: "The status has been changed to Closed. Dec 15, 2024, 2:42 PM by Adam Bednar."
Terrible Customer Support
Linveo's support team is unresponsive and dismissive. They seem more interested in closing tickets than solving customer problems.
Inconsistent Service
For a VPS provider, network reliability is crucial. Unfortunately, Linveo's network is plagued with issues, and they lack the competence to resolve them effectively.
Conclusion:
Linveo has proven to be unreliable, unprofessional, and unworthy of trust. Their frequent downtimes and lack of proper support make them one of the worst VPS providers I have ever dealt with. I would strongly recommend avoiding Linveo if you value your time, money, and sanity.

@Licensekey99 Weird cuz I had an although free vps plan from them for a year, I had zero downtime and no problems. This was at their Ohio dc, yours was at the Texas one.id recommend a VPS with someone like Amazon or ovh or hetzner if downtime is that important.
Hello Licensekey99,
Yes there were some outages at the Texas DC in the last few months. One as you noted was due to an ASN routing issue where Google traffic including Youtube was not accessible for a period of time. And there was the power outage on December 4th. The ticket you note from September 19 was due to your VPS running out of RAM, so it was not an issue caused by us. Your recent ticket regarding intermittent connectivity issues from your home network is also not something that we have control over and was caused by your ISP despite your claims. We do have other locations with other network providers that you could have asked to be transferred to. We also have looking glass for each of the locations so you could have reviewed your connections before purchasing.
If you would like to change location, you can request so by ticket. Texas is our most popular location, but it does not work for everyone. That's why there are multiple choices.
This is not my ISP issue. It was your network issue. I have tested from 3 different ISP. there was issue in your Network Peer
I experienced two server crashes within a week, lasting about 20 minutes. The first one was on the 20th and I had to manually restart, and the second one was today. Can you provide any uptime guarantee? By the way, my server is located in Ohio @lnx
There were no network issues at our DC or on our end at the times you mentioned. I tried to work with you to resolve the issue, but I don't think there will be a solution that is acceptable for you. At this point, I don't think continuing the service is in either of our best interest. If you would like to receive a partial refund, please open a billing ticket.
I had a vps from linveo and it was stable when I used it(Mainly used for experimentation without uptime/network monitoring). I remember running yabs which indicated descent performance.
Probably, 1 ticket I raised during my stay which was promptly addressed.
I have been using @INX Linveo VPS for the past six months in the Ohio location, and I haven’t faced any issues. The price-to-service quality ratio is excellent.
Been at the Texas datacenter since aug, so far no issues to speak of. YMMV with any service but overall I have been happy.
Totally agree, I experienced 3 downtimes in the past 10 days
i've been getting the same since I've had my texas service for the last month
asked for a location change and was told it's not possible
Been using them for the last 4 months and zero downtime.
You don't monitor or never login into your vm? There were at least two power outage in Dallas
Mine is in Ohio and open ticket to migrate to texas, but look your statue, it seems worse than Ohio
In case you guys missed in in the larger thread - from @lnx
So if anyone happens to know of any colo providers in Dallas - hit him up, let him know. Sooner that gets resolved, the better it is for everyone in the Dallas location.
Ironically when I was posting this I got the email about the power outage PDU in TX haha. This was our first time ever having an issue though and we were notified.
