Let's piss off @emgh
Steve Jobs didn't let his kids use an iPad.
No-brainer
.
Too many restrictions birth rebellion. And I completely agree with you: people involved in IT seem to rightfully fear what technology does to people.
RYZRN
CloudFlare's paid plans start for a much lower price though.
The 58th person to thank this post will receive a free 6/6/66 for 1 year. This means 57 of you must sacrifice yourself so someone can get a deal. Who's up for sacrifices?
+1
Heard something similar for Facebook by Zuckerberg
Yeah it's a common practice to restrict / be protective. Especially when you know deep down how much of a havoc it can be
Seriously though, my kid is able to demolish whatever comes her way. That better be a cheap Android Tablet, not an iPad
Winner winner chicken dinner!
Congrats @komdsfojn, you're the winner!

Please PM me with your location of choice and I'll get it sorted for u ASAP
Full list:
While I'd love a free 6/6/66 I got lucky and got one for $12/yr on BF so will be the first sacrifice
I did my part ๐ซก
What happened to unthank?
Congratulations @komdsfojn
Of course it's a thing, which makes it even more fun.
Knew you were dropping something! Thanks for playing!
DROP THEM NOWWWWWWWW
my kids have them but with lots of restrictions. no real network access unless it's approved. limited times of use (mostly travel). no social media, etc. It's a no brainer to be very very careful with them.
Definitely agree with that. All the people I know who had strict parents completely went off the rails as soon as they went to uni and had no restrictions on them at all.
I like your style
And we also have the winners for this amazing GA!
@ralf (You get to choose location!)
@host_c (:O) (Eygelshoven ๐ณ๐ฑ)
@tomle (Frankfurt ๐ฉ๐ช)
@Cryptominer937 (Warsaw ๐ต๐ฑ)
(Y'all can also DM each other, or discuss here if you want to exchange locations)
Please PM me and I'll get all of you sorted ASAP!

This...
Being super restricted for the initial years
And when tasted what freedom is, spiraled completely opposite.
There has to be a balance . Too much or too little can cause trouble almost ๐ฏ
I am biased but this sounds to me like at some point the dam will overflow. I'm not sure which is better - oversheltering or overexposure to dangers. A very thin line to walk, and each directuon has pros and cons
I thanked in the hope you'll let me pay for mine!
Gotta learn kids to cope with failure, restrictions, temptation. Whatever gets thrown at you in life. A healthy way to cope is key.
$12/year is even better than free.
You betcha...
@SilverCreek drop dem $12 666 ones...
The nice thing is that as they age, the restrictions loosen bit by bit so hopefully when they are on their own (college or otherwise) they'll know how to survive in a healthy way in the digital age.
Congrats guys. Now sacrifice yourself for the @SilverCreek giveaway!
