    @gbzret4d it's a mistake to compare 1 vCore - 2GB RAM with 2 vCores - 4GB RAM benchmarks.

    Comparisons need to be done using the same configurations. I think it was an honest mistake.

    You can compare the single core.

    @MassiveGRID you dont want to answer the question? Why was my single core gb6 bench over 800 in the beginning and now its about 230? 2nd question: you said a while ago you will raise the IO limits, when will this be done?

    We answered immediately after your post:

    As in regards to the IO limits, it's scheduled for the new features roll out at Q1 2025.

    DHCP IP leases are working without issues. If you face any issues can you open up a ticket for our support to check specifically your VPS?

    And I already told you that my single core score was a little over 800 when I bought it and now it's just over 200. The yabs I posted before was just as a comparison. So I lost about a score of 600 for single core.

    Why do I have then a score of just over 200? With a fresh and updated iso?

    For sure it's not related to the infrastructure.

    OK if you say so, I will reinstall the server and test again, let's see if I will get more than 200 points this time otherwise it's limited in some way

    @gbzret4d it's a mistake to compare 1 vCore - 2GB RAM with 2 vCores - 4GB RAM benchmarks.

    As in regards to the IO limits, it's scheduled for the new features roll out at Q1 2025.

    And I already told you that my single core score was a little over 800 when I bought it and now it's just over 200. The yabs I posted before was just as a comparison. So I lost about a score of 600 for single core.

    As a node fills up with users it is normal for things to get slower. Run YABS once per day and track what happens to the speed.

    That can happen in VPS services since the CPU is shared, however, as we run the test on our busiest node in Frankfurt, it still achieves maximum score.

    Merry Christmas!

    Yabs: see my post above, CPU score remains high.

    The test was conducted with a new VPS from this offer on the busiest cluster node in Frankfurt.

    We’re constantly adding capacity to our Clusters and we live migrate VMs from busiest to quietest nodes.

    However for super consistent and dedicated CPU capacity VDS is better than VPS. VPS is by definition shared CPU.

  • So @MassiveGRID I've been patiently waiting since the 13th but you're still yet to action anything on my ticket (it was moved to Hold but that was only after giving up on the ticketing system and tagging you in this thread) - 12 days of no action. I can see this because I checked Proxmox logs and it's still not been accessed via yourself.

    I don't believe it's a complex issue as you alluded to as I've installed proxmox 8 using stock iso image, no issues. I've purchased two additional ips. I've tried creating two vms using the Mac addresses that you've provided and the VMs do not have internet access. Please can this ticket be resolved now as this is effectively sat doing nothing at the minute (#233850)

    The VPS is working - the request is a non standard request.

    You can try using Routed Configuration: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Network_Configuration#sysadmin_network_routed
