    It's actually fairly easy to reassemble in most cases, unless you don't desolder anything.

    I am bad at hardware soldered hardware.

    Me as well. I try to stay away as much as possible, but recently I have taken an interest to it

    Router? what did you solder in that?

    UART. It helps you get shell access to any device that supports it.

    Over the 10+ years I have had it, it has run factory firmware, DD-WRT, Tomato, OpenWRT, MerlinWRT, factory ASUS firmware. It has had a colorful life.
