    Exactly, that's the idea. But, the prices are currently cheaper on Spaceship than namecheap.

    I have two domains at spaceship. They are somewhat cheaper.

    Namecheap was cheap in prices earlier, and also every year they used to give coupons for registration renewal etc on tld. They reduced it considerably now.

    Yah, got my domain on namecheap earlier in hopes for better renewal prices. They have cut down on those discounts now.

    i am thinking of moving most of my domain namesilo with their discount program or maybe where who provides atcost pricing with API access for reseller benefits.

    I am just too scared of transferring domains due to the nightmares shared online.

    I transfered plenty of times, Every year I transfer to cheapr ones for that year. :p

    Risky strategy. But, have you ever faced any issues. And, what's the downtime during the transfer?

    downtime 0 if your nameservers were carried over, if you are using registrar's DNS it might take time to set it up again.

    My dns changes have all been prety quick to apply. I suppose it varies for everyone and based on your location but even with a high time to live it almost seems isntant every time

    got too many records that's the reason i keep my DNS separate from registrar it doesn't get carry over with transfer :joy:

    I've been doing that as well since a long time. All records are with cloudflare.

    not usually, but there are times i do for some, previously auctioned domains includes, clientsorder, adminforums, namesystem.org, etc.
