Wanted: Midsized VPS (4vCore / 4GB RAM / 100GB SSD) for under $3 per month
I am looking for a reliable VPS for a personal project (Family Immich server).\
I will rclone crypt mount photos from HostBrrs amazing storage deal (in Hertzner Germany), and serve from behind a CDN... Just need something with the RAM and processing power to give a reasonable experience (it needs to pass the 'wife test').
Requirements:
- At least 4 vCores, regularly scoring >2,000-2-500 in GB6 multicore tests
- At least 4GB of RAM (maybe 8GB, so I can use docker to host Traefik, Authelia, and a few other tools)
- At least 100GB of SSD/NVME (to store image thumbnails and metadata locally)
- At least 1Gbps to HostBrr in Hertzner Germany
- At least 2TB Bandwidth
- Something in or near Germany would be great. I have seen providers in Germany, Netherlands and Lithuania provide sub-10ms latency.
I have missed the following $20 to $30 BF/CM deals, which would have been ideal (or close to ideal)
