TrK you're only allowed to pass me to 1st position not 2nd :D

    You got it boss ๐Ÿ˜€

Hahaha, you really want that 1st position ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

I can always have a nice laptop in my blanket

How many more computers you need in your data center. :p

One can't have enough, for the home dc it requires too much money ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜” i think I should buy lotto ticket from US

    Send some rigs to me.

I... MIGHT be retiring this ASRock Mobo with the Xeon from RackNerd soon, but it I'm not sure if it will suit your needs. Plus shipping might be more than it is worth!

Not the shipping but the import duty :joy: our idiot officers are known to impose full 48% uty even on used goods clearly documented not for sale.

How about getting a phone from gulf country? is it worth it? Like without the box, just phone?

Had an accident 4 months back. My G8X was broken. Currently using one with broken screen and cameras. Want to upgrade to 24 ultra. But its damn costly here.

if someone can bring it with them it's quite a breeze, just ask the person not to carry more than 2 smart phones.

Thanks. Will try the option. Will be problem with the payments though. Have to check. Or have to settle for some iqoo or oneplus here.

OnePlus' motto is "Never settle." You wanna settle?

he is already well settled :joy:

Touch wood. Best of luck to him.

@BlazinDimes Is the iBook still working, or is it an older picture?

Old pic, taken on my iPod Touch 4th gen in 2012, unfortunately something I lost, which sucks because I had the matching iMac too!

Why not start a virtual gallery or something?

i have a perfect domain for an image gallery stuff :joy:

I could, I have a lot of pics of the tech I've had and worked on over the years.

If you still have the gadgets, 360 images of them could be what you need for a virtual museum.

Ok. Fixed one link. Few more to go.

Keep going and come back to us!

Its easy as frontend changes (tailwindcss). Now back to api.

Oh Never tried it out though. I have been a Bootstrap head for as long as I can remember.

Oh its super awesome. But looks ugly though. You have to create components if you want clean code.

Bootstrap is good enough for me. But, hear Tailwind has many more options.

Bootstrap is good. My first framework was foundation. Later moved to Bootstrap. Then moved to tailwind. Its utility first, and easy for developers. So most developers prefer it.

    Haven't heard of Foundation yet.

It was awesome i used it in past but bootstrap and bulma got better of me :joy:

I haven't played much with bulma. Considered it for some work, but later dropped idea. Now completely tailwind for custom, and bootstrap for templates.

Also, have you used all of these, or, were these bought off other users?

I think I snagged that iBook for $10 and got it running. The Windows 95 copies were from my dad, as he used to work IT/telecom for a company out of Minnesota when I was young.

@BlazinDimes how can I peer with you for a direct connection?

What for? I have plenty of solutions for this.

DN42? Or running your own network?

Currently my network is in a state of chaos, as I just got back into the game right after missing the RackNerd BF thread this year. So nothing is really organized right now.

Ohh I am curious now.... I just dropped my ASN because annual ripe fee.

Honestly the only thing still standing is my Tailscale network that connects a few essential services, its a long story but I've had some rough times since I was super active in 2021 and had built out a large network of servers all over the globe. Had big plans, but life happened to take a nosedive for a while.

I know you are super active in 21 and when i decided to join in 22 you were no where to be seen, i guess life just gives you surprises ...

It sure did, I was doing big things, and it suddenly fell apart. Not sure I want to go into details, but I'm back!

glad to have you back, the details can wait, if you are able to stabilize the life it's what matters to me.

Thanks, that actually means a lot. I always enjoy this community. Ended up leaving the IT business completely for a while, switched to small engine repair, and a little automotive on the side. Happy to be back.

Glad it's working out for you, i also need to figure something out, the shopify sucks and woocommerce is poorly designed, slackware just doesn't fit right with me, adobe ruined magento, what else is there?

Actually I've been working on building shopify kind of website, in low scale and basic features. Halted due to health issues this year. It'll be in my road map for 2025.

A custom from scratch Shopify like SaaS?

Yup. Thats the plan. Not fully featured with plugins like Shopify. But a basic version with all the necessary things.
