@DaDeveloper Youa re in top position now. Keep going. The Acer Nitro laptop (1st prize) is priced the same as the Skytech Gaming PC on the BF thread. And, Ig, this is the first time, an i7 laptop is up for grabs in a RackNerd GA.

That would be nice if I could get it, but I also want to not always be glued to my device all the time

This time leave the top prizes to us. Let us have some agreement. :D

Nah I want new tech! And people to talk to :)

You got a dedi.. play with new tech stacks.. And yeah we will be here to talk as usual.

I have a dedi in my room, I dont need a remote dedi XD

Nothing wrong in having a redundency. :D

On a serious note, what you decided about it? What did the DM from dustin says?

I havent heard back from him yet, but it renews at 29/month which I cannot afford.... unless he gives me a job   @dustinc (im a hard worker)

    Dam 29 that's seriously great.....

This is what I am thinking. Maybe a drive on my local machine with a Wireguard tunnel setup using DNS (I have dynamic IP). What do you guys think?

Check out Tailscale if you haven't yet!

    +1 for tailscale it's awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž

have you heard of headscale? It seems right up some of our alleys :> https://headscale.net/stable/

This is the self hosted version of the Tailscale control server, so far I have been just using their control server with a personal domain for the added benefits.

I mean to each their own... im a big proponent of controlling all of my infra if I can

It's definitely on my list! I also prefer to control mine, but Tailscale is one of those things I need to stay online even if I lose a server, so I have been putting off self-hosting that until I am more financially stable. Which, hopefully with this new job, is right now. Things were a bit unstable in the COVID era for me.

Hehe, so maybe my plan won't work but it's the first day and people's steam wears out

Don't hold your hopes though. If you are eyeing something in the prize pool, time to give it all.

I mean, my goal is top 25 which I still think I can easily do without really trying though I wouldn't mind a backpack. Though my comment wasn't about that, it was the fact that there was so many pages so fast

    Oh pardon me.
