part of the reasons I use forks
BRING ON THE 🔥🔥🔥
I absolutely love Bitwarden and would definitely recommend it.
Which forks specifically?
+1 on chromite, I am also using Firefox on desktop and mac, but for Android somehow Firefox derivatives feels slow.
For iOS, I am using Orion.
I mean, is it reliable enough to store all your confidential passwords?
I use vaultwarden!
Zen/ Librewolf
Have heard of this as well.
RACKNERD GANG AWAITS SURPRISE VISIT FROM THE CHEF THIS NEW YEARS !!
I use Vaultwarden for self-hosting my Bitwarden Sync. I like the premium features, plus I just like self-hosting things.
Thank you. Time to look into these.
I am all for self-hosting as well, esp. when it comes to confidential information like passwords. Is there anything else you do on your VPS running Bitwarden other than SSH hardening. Pardon me for asking too many questions. I am new to all this.
yep, one of the few things I dont worry about self hosting because it caches on clients
you are very welcome!
Same here, it gets addicting self hosting and saving money
Didn't know this though.
fail2ban, selinux, least privilege using podman and non sudo users
So, any luck with the job hunt?
yea, as long as you have recently logged in and used it, even if your server goes down, you can still use your passwords, just cant edit or add any
Nope, sending out more apps in the morning
Have used fail2ban before. But, what alternative would you suggest to non-sudo users, since most applications need su/sudo access to even install.
That's awesome. Is it just browser-side caching? And, is this cache encrypted?
Good luck, dude.
