In the end, a Japanese pre-sale VPS's expiration date surprisingly made it through the lockdown period. Afterward, I continued buying VPSs intermittently and have been using them ever since. However, now I’ll cancel some of the idle ones.

Why would he suspend accounts ?

I might have been affected. He was checking a lot of things at the time, so he might have filtered out accounts that met certain conditions for suspension. In the end, my account hasn’t had any issues up until now. Unfortunately, the BF flash sales from before are gone now.

I was considering getting a VPS with him just before all that disaster over Japan when they were delivered about 6 months then half of them failed and everyone was giving him grief 24/7 here. I was kind of glad I'd avoided that mess, but then also really jealous when I saw all the consolation upgrades everyone got.

I'm not sure I really agree with the idea of selling VPS via lootbox though, but that's just because the worst possible outcomes were actually really crap for the price.

With Virmach it's like dynamic ip

But if the host you are on is lucky, you will have an excellent experience.

For me it's been mostly decent and ip changes have not caused much issue except a couple hours give or take.
Best one is the physical move from one country to the other. I didn't even notice as all mails go straight to spam but I agree, if you're lucky you'll have excellent service for next to nothing.

I think that's basically SOP for most of the MJJs buying the cheapest of the cheap deals though. I actually feel sad for them most of time, because not only are the scalpers making a huge profit on them, a lot of the buyers are almost certainly getting scammed after transfers with refund requests from the original owner causing the service to get cancelled etc.

Before this incident happened, every time Black Friday flash sales came around, I was hoping to get a cheap VPS from Virm***. Since I couldn’t get the cheaper VPS, I ended up having to buy VPS flash sale plans priced above 7 dollars.
