Still working my way through last night's message, so won't have seen anyone else's comments.
I mentioned to @beanman109 yesterday that I really liked the random spins giveaways, even if I haven't won any of them. I guess it only works for the giveaways, and would be harder for deals, but I really like the fact that they feel more like an actual giveaway rather than just "fastest fingers" and somehow therefore more Christmassy.
I argued for full quoting of the giveaways yesterday because it helps tell people what they missed and let's them scroll back to find the offer, but I might have got that wrong, as it means that you get mentally prepared to just scroll through that wall of text in every post rather than stopping to actually read it. In terms of engagement, it's probably better for them to be read once than skimmed through, but ofc if there's too much other spam, then they probably would get missed if they only appear once.
The quoting of the #WE-LOVE- whatever is nice in that it spreads Christmas, but I think you're definitely right that it does feel a but spammy and when it's happening it stops the flow of the general chatting and banter, although it's better when it's short and just one line rather than 5 or 6 with the title style.
