Not a VPS... But 10TB for a one time price... Now with 20% off...

Not a VPS...
But 10TB for a one time price.

What:

Internxt 10TB cloud storage plane is normally $349.99 on stacksocial.com.

On the Internxt.com site, it is currently €580 (just over $600)

There is currently a 20% off on stacksocial.com, using code: HOLIDAY20

1 year of the the Internxt 10TB plan, when billed annually is normally €299.99 (just over $311).

TLDR:

Basically: life time deal for the equivalent of just 1x "1 year billed annually plan".

So will anyone help a brother out...

The MEGATHREAD (you know the one) has cause an absence of the currency units required to acquire said seal of a deal for ones shenanigans...

AKA: I'm broke for more digital stuff (at said price)...
Because: still have Christmas to go...

Just need 35 people to use my referral code, so I can get one for free:
https://www.stacksocial.com?rid=4712861

After all...
Tis the season...
And it costs you nothing...

Don't want to help a brother out...

Just go to stacksocial.com, you can't miss the deal...
It's the one that is being promoted at the top of the site, on all the pages.

Merry Christmas

From Bit...

  • @bit said: And it costs you nothing...

    yes, it does.

    Get Credit
Once your friend signs up and makes a purchase* you both get $10 of credit.

    yes, it does.

Nop... It does not, as they can just skip the link, go directly to stacksocial.com, sign up and buy anything there or not.

But if someone is in the Christmas spirit... Signs up using the referral code, it costs them nothing.
If said someone buys one of the deals. Any deal, not even the one I highlighted. It still costs them nothing to use the referral code.

It's between them and stacksocial.com, what they spend their money on.

    So you are saying...

It's even better than I stated... By using the link, they will also get $10.

Because I completely missed that... Thank you for pointing that out...

Also signing up to the stacksocial email newsletter, gets you a 15% off coupon, that can be used on anything on the site, to take 15% off at checkout...

    Merry Christmas...

  • Good luck finding 35 people who are willing to buy something from there and never had an account there before. 👍

    And it costs you nothing...

  • I'm actually thinking about it, if I can figure out a way to automate the snapshots from the fully managed nextcloud at nextfiles.one getting regularly uploaded to it (possibly encrypted first? I don't know anything about internxt).

I don't really care about speed; I just want a bottomless off-site backup space...

Lies... In order for you to get 'credit' we need to spend money and buy something.

Doesn't matter though, I can't even if I wanted to.. StackSocial has blocked our IP space and refuses to unblock it, even when paying users complain/report it.

There is no pewpew to the head.

I gave everyone all the info they need to get the deal without my referral...

But if you are going that way...
Think it is a good deal worth getting.
Decide that you will spend your currency units.

    Your choice...

    Merry Christmas...

    Quote from https://internxt.com/webdav:

    Internxt CLI and WebDAV support

Internxt works with your chosen WebDAV client to manage your Internxt Drive files via commands.

They have a "CLI" that uses Webdav...

They have options for Windows, Mac and Linux.

    Quote on third party clients:

We support the following WebDAV clients:

    CyberDuck
    Transmit
    Cadaver
    Finder

    Again, info at: https://internxt.com/webdav

  • Maybe if you ask 35 people to give you 10$ you will have better luck than asking 35 people to cough up 350.00. Another idea: is the Service multi user or for individuals only? Maybe 35 people can chip in 10 each for lifetime ~250GB storage.

On that... Yeah you might be right.

But no one has to get that exact deal.

They could just sign up, then in the future if they find something of value to them on the site... When they buy whatever it is, it would not cost them extra and they could get a credit as well.

Another idea: is the Service multi user or for individuals only? Maybe 35 people can chip in 10 each for lifetime ~250GB storage.

Only issue is no access control. So would have to put a server in front, to then have them be able to access a slow pool.

I might be better off just offering people LTO5 Tape based storage.

    1TB for $15 a year.
Or $150 for life time of the tape...

    That I can easily do...

    Note:

Data access and Data storage to the tapes would be on a queue basis. First-come, first-served etc.

AWS s3 glacier deep archive replicated in 3 data centers costs less than $1/TB/month: https://aws.amazon.com/s3/pricing

    Note:

Data access and Data storage to the tapes would be on a queue basis. First-come, first-served etc.

SLA for s3 glacier deep archive is 12 hours.

    Agreed.

You get tape that is all yours.

What're the business/personal benefits of this? Data should be end-to-end encrypted anyway. People only care about reliability, durability at minimum cost for archive storage.

  • I can do:

100% DMCA ignore. Especially if you encrypt the data before you send it...

  • That shit is a scam...

I'd rather send you some crypto to buy (or buy it for you) a nice annual seedbox somewhere, or any nice storage option from LET and everyone is happy.

No strings attached. Merry Christmas. :)

  • One better:

DMCA doesn't apply. Because not in a Jurisdiction(s) where it does.

    Unsustainable offers, plain and simple.

If you want some nice storage plan, PM me. I will get it for you, free of charge. No strings attached, like I said. But, don't waste your time on stuff like that.. it's going to be oversold crap.

OK Good Sir, I will PM you.

    And Merry Christmas to you.

  • @fitkoh said: What would you recommend?

For seedbox purposes, or? feralhosting.com, oneprovider.com, buyvm.net, etc.. feral is prob going to be the best network, oneprovider the cheapest and most reliable since it's online.net network and it's really cheap... buyvm.net and ihostart.com will give you the most storage, but i don't know how the uptime is nowadays at ihostart.com, best to ask @Calin if things improved enough for seedbox use or if there are issues with the network still.

First they told me it was from attacks on their websites from our IP ranges.. A few months of asking for any details about it, date&time, source IP, type/sample of attack they did admit that there was nothing done to their site, it is done as a 'preventive measure'. But they won't remove the block either. So fuck it.

Worst part though is unable to access previous purchases.
