    Host-C is great for storing backups, but something I discovered looking into using it for more than just backups, is that they block port 53, so no DNS. I suppose it depends on your server setups, but for me, that limits it pretty much to backups.

    Probably because lots of people don't know how to set up DNS properly, and if it answers any IP not just local addresses, it can then be used remotely for DDOS amplification attacks.

    Perhaps. It's the first time I've ever seen a vps with port 53 blocked, though.
