I'm back. Been away for a while. What's up you guys?

Not much... there hasn't been much happening lately other than a few different conversations about various topics such as Linux and @noob404's mystery project

I remember reading those a few pages back. But now that I was away a few days, I couldn't follow the discussions, because of this forum layout. It makes it a bit hard to use with the screen reader a big threads like this one. Even though I've been here for a few years, trying to figure out the best ways to navigate this forum with the screen reader is quite challenging, but it's fun and rewarding at the same time. :)

A screen reader huh? If its not too insensitive to ask, what caused you to need one and which do you use? I have Age Related Macular Degeneration in my family

I am totally blind and thus I need one. About what I am using, I use NVDA from Nv Access since it is free and open source, and I don't have the funds to pay for expensive screen reading software.
I hope I answered your questions.

Sorry to hear that. But, I am glad that we have people from varied spectra on the thread and generally on LET, as well.
Can you tell me what features you miss on opensource screen reading apps?

    Thanks @noob404.
To answer your question. I didn't missed anything now. NVDA, the screen reading software that I'm currently using right now is powerful enough for my computing needs. The beauty about NVDA is it's open source, so anyone can write add-ons / extensions to extends its functionality. The point that I maid earlier is just to let @DaDeveloper knows that in fact there are multiple screen readers software out there, both free and paid. Sorry if that statements confused you or anyone who read it.

Ha ha. Sure. Join us. Lets have some conversations like last year.

Actually this year most of us active members agreed not to spam with random things, and have just normal discussions, hence the less number of pages. :D

It is generosity either way, regardless of your affordability status. Anyways, not feeling that generous now.

Dustin does take custom queries. You can either DM him here or mail at [email protected]

AFAIK no, there's no implementation of private network for VPSs.

No private network but you can use wireguard to create your own?

  • Or use dn42 if you can't afford being a LIR
