    You can get GB6 scores by downloading the Windows version directly and there are loads of disk speed tests for windows. But yabs needs shell script and assumes several standard linux tools - it may work under cygwin or msys, but if you don't already have them they're both more hassle to set up than WSL2 (which is really easy and very good).

    Yes, for some reason enabling WSL2 says Virtualization is off when it is on. I prob need to update the MB bios

    If it's a kept-up-to-date windows, I think it's been WSL2 by default for a year or so...
    (Unless you'd already installed WSL, then you need to upgrade it manually)

    Yes, for some reason enabling WSL2 says Virtualization is off when it is on. I prob need to update the MB bios

    Oh yeah, there's often a BIOS option to enable the virtualisation features. I had to do that too on one of my PCs (change BIOS setting, no need to update it). Totally forgot.

    Thing is..... This is enabled in Bios, WSL2 just doesn't like it for some reason.

    That works too. But sometimes my idlers shuts off after 180 gruesome days
    So that doesn't help much.
    But hey, computer is turned off and save of electricity!!!!
