I’m in need of storage as well. My usage is similar — I need it for storing videos of my pets (a Munchkin cat and a Labrador) and for family - related content on Nextcloud. I managed to grab the 1TB Hornet Revision 2.0 during some day (Black Friday), but unfortunately, I couldn’t secure the 3TB or 4TB version, which would have been more suitable for my needs.
I was willing to transfer the 1TB one, and I even asked @Zyra in the mega thread for 3TB transfer, but I was too late. I hoped to find a deal from you during Christmas, @host_c and kept checking your comments daily & logged always in your website with Paypal to make it secure. However, it seems like you’re on the road based on your last update.
Now, I’m considering switching to a DirectAdmin storage box from Hostbrr to make my hornet revision 1TB expandable, as it seems there may not be any more deals from you during this Christmas. Edit : @ManuelM - you could also consider hostbrr @labze for high storage if only requirement is nextcloud as per below comment, much cheaper and more bandwidth technically.
In last @host_c are you offering any deals on the 3TB or 4TB plans like the Panama ones you provided earlier? It seems my Christmas poems and requests might not have reached you.

Let me give it a try. Initially, I thought it was suitable only for backups, so considering attaching hostbrr's Storage Box to the @host_c Hornet VPS with a dedicated IP. If it works well, I might transfer the Hornet VPS to someone else due to its limited storage capacity and if not found any good deal from @host_c side as well.
If you're able to snatch one of the promo VPS, then you can upgrade it to the larger promo storage, you'll just need to pay $5 extra and the difference.

I would go with charity host - they have been great so far - grabbed an 8c (xeon gold 6248) 16gb ram NVME with an attached 16TB drive for 340/yr renewable for 12 yrs. I dont think you can beat that.
29 dollars a month? I know a few providers that can match or even beat that. Good that you can renew for 12 years, what about after that? What if they go bankrupt mid way thru?
Ive been lurking here for a bit and havent seen anything close. The storage is a backend raid too. So you run minio and have S3 cloud storage with compute for less than 2$/TB?
There is no upgrade option in the services menu, it is not upgradable at the moment. That's why I was waiting for some 3/4TB deal, but sad no luck.

theoretically yes, but it seems @host_c already got it covered pretty well. And it seems the micro server attached with the disk is fine enough for the topic opener. For us it makes no sense to offer so small configs ;-;
