    sorry I don't speak andronerd

Wait what... Please don't tell me ... Apple?

Right now I'm using my apple macbook with my apple keyboard with two iphones in front of me and airpods max on my head

But you have Linux installed on the Macbook, right? Right??

ios is basically a Unix variant? Ain't it?

    iOS is for mobile devices

    Computer is macOS

Have you tried Asahi Linux by any chance? At least seems pretty good on Apple ARM processors.

I haven’t. If you or anyone else has I’d love to hear more though.

The mac mini with it would make for an interesting homelab.

I installed on a 13'' MBP, didn't expect how good could it be, just tested out some things, performance also, and never used after. Was a MBP with the screen partially broken :D

    I won’t say it

    I won’t say it

    I won’t say it

    YABS

I'll try if i still have access to grab it again :D No promises!

Guys the current Netcup offer is prem

You can even get an upgraded RS 2000 with 2 extra vCPU compared to the normal RS 2000 plan and 1TB SSD instead of 512GB for just over the standard price of the RS 1000

Not $7/yr but they’re a reputable and long running brand

I even revived my Palm OS phone last year. Still somehow started and I fiddled with it...

Anyone heard of Kyocera Echo? Not sure, but I consider it OG of dual screens. Was my daily driver for 3 years.

    Oh

    Nokia 6600
First phone purchased with my first salary

Nokia 8110? My first phone ever...

Looks nice (although €6.31 inc 20% VAT), but shame it's IPv6 only and IPv4 is pretty expensive. I'm almost still tempted just because I like arm though.

Personally I think the RS deals are nice, and they include IPv4 AFAIK

Also very annoying with KYC. Would love to try them out, but I'm not going into calls and sending them pictures of me / my bills, lol.

Tempted to get one. But location is what I am worried. But again it's a 1mo contract, right? Am I reading it correct?

Normally you can choose your term for additional discounts but yes I think this root server deal is monthly contract

Probably some shit about canceling in time or you get another month or something like that though, they’re german so it won’t be flexible

Anyway, the deal is good enough that you shouldn’t have to cancel, transfering to someone on here seems viable in case you don’t want it

    Also confirmed on their FAQ

If I selected "no preference Europe", can the location change after the fact?
No, the location of the vServer cannot be changed after the time of order setup.

Still seems to work for me (or at least I can visit the page and add it to the cart), even though local time here is now gone midnight. The calendar says it's expired though, with nothing shown for 21st.

EDIT: and I just force re-loaded the calendar again and now I can click on the 20th to open it!

Tired (I think). It was always ARM VPS (at least for me). I opened the calendar to look for the RS after you mentioned them.

Yeah probably. I think it’s not IPv6 only though. Anyway, tired & going to sleep now.

If Host-C posts a killer deal get one for me!
