If it escalates into a PayPal dispute, it will make both sides unhappy. However, since the resolution method needs to be handled and costs need to be controlled, the final result... can only be a dispute!
The provider seem unwillingly to proceed with refund since the first place and the piles of ticket that struck here. Yea better chargeback or lose it forever.

Exactly. I never needed to do a chargeback ever before tbh. Can't even remember I even ever asked for a refund either. Just not my style. Did escalate it with PP just now as the host outright refuses to communicate. That's like plain robbery. I don't stand for that.
True. The money is not important for me but I'm sure it's a decent amount for some people in some parts of the world.
My advice would be to chargeback as soon as possible.
