Due to my specific work, I need to run multiple qemu VMs. To ease the CPU load I would like to use VirtGL. So I'm looking for either of these options, preferably in APAC region:
- Micro Colo: similar to Data Ideas' sevice but in another location.
- VDS or Dedi with these specs:
- CPU: 6/12 should be enough, nothing fancy. High-ist freg prefered. AMD prefered.
- RAM: min. 32GB. ECC prefered.
- Single GPU: any iGPU should works, GPU should be cheap ones 440/1650 and similars.
- 256GB SSD + 2TB HDD. NVME prefered, and/or larger HDD.
- Network 500mbps or better, 5TB or better. APAC prefered.
Target price $70±/m

I face issue with graphics display over Linux VM which runs without graphics card on Linux. So it uses CPU for graphics. virtGL will bypass or use installed graphics driver?
Yes, it's not the same as passthrough a slice or entire GPU. As I understand, right now it allows the host to process basic graphic-render-related tasks from VMs. Tremendously reduce CPU usage when you run badly optimized .appimage for example. Plus the benefit of using cheap GPU/iGPU, no licence fee.
It is still somewhat finicky when used with Nvidia cards but a provider with GPU is rare so I'll take any suggestions.

The only stipulation is that we require you to bring a KVM to have attached 24x7. We might be able to provide you with a Sispeed NanoKVM for a small extra charge (either $5/month or $50 one time) which can be attached 24x7.
