    m y i m still have old rusty UDM Pro with smol flex mini. I don't have any AP since I already had some old tp-link decos
    they haven't offered the UDM Pro Max in their christmas promotions so far, so skipping till then, or until I have a realistic need for it.

    or until they release some model that can support 10 Gbps PPPoE for which I would instantly buy it and get a 10 Gbps line home.

    I have this idea in my head to do prod stuff at home with a bunch of Ubiquiti gear as well as a 4G/5G router as a backup that all gets routed through the Ubiquiti stuff, with a UPS and Cloudflare Tunnel

    Probably won't though....... probably.......

    Sounds amazing until you hear about the price :D
    Ubiquiti is expensive, but I consider it quite worth it. Although I haven't used many other alternatives. Heard TP-Link had some Unifi-like product line too.

    Good UPS that won't cause any shutdowns are expensive too

    My nightmare with these stuff is if something goes down enough that I have to press a button and I'm a 15 hour flight away

    It seems like it won't appear until Black Friday 2025, but based on some prices in Johor, I estimate the lowest configuration will be $20 per year. :(
