    They went real technical...

By including the definitions of the words in a business context.

My answer would be to point you to a previous post, that way my statement will then make more sense... See the "newfangled" bit: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4183811/#Comment_4183811

  • So, "I do not understand how some questions would "jeopardize" anyone on a 75k email list."

Still valid question. I don't think "jeopardize" means what you think it means.

You can continue with your valid questions. Our valid answer is that it is a lack of professional attitude when after questions and questions, they come up with a comparison with TICK TOCK and don´t give you a single answer after 13 hours since we sent them the first questions.
If that is the way this company treats possible customers when they have pre sales questions, I don't recommend them at all, and that is the sole purpose of my comments.
I got very good data from LOWENDTALK and close several deals, so I also comment the bad ones.

No. It sounds like you're trying to write a lot of words without answering any of the questions.

    Hi
During my search for a email server so to handle some newsletter and subscription marketing email tools, I contacted NAMECRANE.
I explained my needs (send notifications, newsletters, and announcements to partners and affiliates, 15 thousands), and their first thing they did was to question from where I obtained that list. I explained that they are customers with straight relationship. Then they asked if it was related to TICKTOCK PRODUCTS.. They never quoted nor recommended a plan or give a straight answer to my request.
Wasted time, they never answer your questions, they ask and ask. More than 12 hours of wasted time for an answer that never comes. Flee from NAMECRANE.

    Hi Hernan,

It seems like this might just be a classic Layer 8 problem, the typical "Error 40". Recently, I took the plunge and migrated all my domains to the CraneMail package, consolidating all my scattered websites from various providers into one seamless system. The transition was smooth, and any questions I had were promptly and respectfully addressed.

The team at NameCrane, especially @Francisco and Mike have been nothing short of amazing. Their dedication to providing top-notch support, whether through chats or tickets, is truly commendable. Every interaction has been a delight, and it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers.

Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend NameCrane to anyone looking for reliable and professional service. <3

    Cheers,
    Mike

When a statement like "**** should be avoided" is accompanied by a ton of !, it becomes less credible…

If you edit quote replies like that, you're going to have a bad time. Quote replying and then having no comment anywhere close to replying to my comment makes no sense.

Don't do that, you just look like more of a tool.

You deserve thanks for that. It is good for potential customers to know that NameCrane proactively protects its email delivery reputation.

I completely agree... @Hernan you have done the lowendtalk community a valiant service, by showing that @Francisco and @NameCrane will proactively protects its email delivery reputation, to ensure that their customers get the reliable service they paid for... By forsaking a quick buck.

@Hernan this whole thread is only going to result in the opposite happening. You have only improved @Francisco and @NameCrane reputation.

the reputation of @NameCrane @Francisco @cranemail could rise immeasurably if an EU-depandance of cranemail were to be launched in good time. the bugs found and closed so far would then have already been corrected, the old europeans would be pacified and socialism secured for years to come!

  • Hi,

It's really off topic question and I am not even sure even if it is legal so, please pardon me for asking this, but I wonder if someone wishes to run a "spam" service what exactly needs to be hired?

Rent out an entire IP Range? and then host with dedicated hardware at someplace which allows Bring in your own IP?

Is this a way to run spam services without raising questions?

    Thanks.

One buys it from providers in the spam-enabling business.

    Hi Hernan,

It seems like this might just be a classic Layer 8 problem

    Is this the new PEBKAC?

Both expressions are quite common here in Germany. It's often referred to as a "User" (Layer 8 in the ISO model) issue, or "Error 40," as the problem is roughly 40 cm away from the monitor.

Not heard of either of those in the UK, but years ago there was an internet meme of call centre IT support people asking the customer to write everything down and then telling them they have an "ID-ten-T" error.

Layer 8 being the user, I'm familiar with, ID-10-T, and PEBKAC too.

Error 40, never heard that one before..

After explaining in detail you didn't answer, and started asking about TICK TOK products, that have nothing to do with our activities!!! You jeopardize your customers life!!!! This was our fist answer:
I am after a server so to deliver our newsletter and announcements to distributors and partners (about 15 thousands).
    Definitions:
Distributors: Companies that distribute our products/patents/digital products. They promote and resell, and obtain a share of the price.
Partners: Companies that add value to our products.
Customers: The ones who purchase the products.
They have register with us, they register with us when they start business with us.
    Does this explanation clarifies?

    15000 distributors and partners? Sure.......
I was working a while ago for a very big b2b and b2c company like amazon with annual sales in the three-digit million range and we never had 15000 partners and distributors.

You want to send cold mails?

first time read this and it so funny
12 hours of wasted time ? so @Francisco is wasting your time that will make you a million dollar ? what about someone like you wasting their time ? dont you think so ?

what he doing is also to protect their reputable as hosting service from someone to abuse their services. i trust he always give the best service as i have his service for long time.

it is not worth it to have 1 customer that will disturb other 10 customers
