  • Got two 'interesting' experiences sofar:

    • I purchased a couple of webhosting services, then canceled it right away at the end of the billing period. I do this to protect myself for recurring payments next year.. One of them got canceled and became inactive, although I got confirmation it should be canceled at the end of the confirmation period. Couldn't login anymore and the reply from customer service at first was that the system does that automatically. Well that was not true for my other accounts... So it's the luck of the draw? They got it fixed after awhile. All good.
    • Then I asked to activate SSH access, as the message says on login: 'if you need shell access please contact support'. First I got a: 'we will activate' , but a day later I got the reaction that this is not part of the 'bigstart' package. I can't find any terms on their website, so to me this is coming back from a promise.

    Although response on tickets is friendly and I have sympathy for a probably busier period than normally because of the special, I can't help to conclude that things are not organized well at 0webhost..

    Many thanks for your honest review and we want to include all specials with the 1$ deal but to protect the other clients we should have to do that.

    SSH is not a big issue and we can let our team check if they can allow it or not.
