If not France but still EU account, probably can ask the cancelation via support ticket and cancel the cancelation with the panel. It is not 100% but if I remembered well from 2023 summer there was a button. I canceled a SYS-1 in LIM but I did not reactivate.
I don't have a server eligible to the first 14-days cancellation to test it, but I wonder what this does in the API : /me/order/{orderId}/retraction

god damn the setup fee is exactly the price of a month of service. That's insane.
I have the KS-6 model in Limburg and France (SBG) (2x512GB NVMe, 10Gbit/300Mbit), if that interests you, however I would be looking for setup+monthly for transfer (about €78 total). EU account

How? OVH offer 7 days period to cancel a termination it's on them if setup fee are avoided
and if you are EU citizen they won't deny a 14 days refund (I have them with a CA account)
I've tried but you'll be suprise when I require to delete the server, which is I can't renew the service
Thats not how their refund is done usually close ticket ask for other support or ask him again, when they accept a refund they terminate it themselves by having you confirm that it can be deleted.
Now if its more than 14 days-old then yes it won't happens

Yeah, it's still working. I ordered 2 KS-Cs, and one was transferred while the other was canceled via ticket. After the cancellation, I purchased it again for $14.
You're right cause I've been done with KS-6 one or two month ago, maybe next time I'll try again, wish me luck
