    It is unfortunately by Hypervisor design, however, we put a request in to separate that but no timeline on it. That being said, if you have multiple VPS using the 10GbE private network doing backups or clustering, just send a ticket to request sensible allocation of bandwidth. As long as the AUP is followed then it will be fine. Bandwidth limits and the AUP are mostly set to gate abuse and misuse, not to limit capacity. All limits can burst to max anytime, just not sustain past a certain metric.

    The 10GbE rfc1918 network is available to all vps, but it is not enabled by default, would be a request to enable it and bind the ip's to the VPS. The reason is most VPS users at this time do not use the 10GbE network even if when it was enabled by default, and it is another network vector to manage for customers that might not understand it, so if you want it you get it by simply requesting it, but if you dont want it it's not on by default. Keeps security and stability for all tuned better. Tip: also means the 10GbE network is really not saturated, tons of capacity there and we will adjust the bandwidth so you do not run out of bandwidth if you mostly use the 10GbE network for clustering and backups.
