My monitor system informed my that my VPS from VPS Hosting Service was down. I opened a ticket, and here was the response:

What was the purpose of the OP? What are you hoping to get besides complaining? Did you msg the company to say you didn't get notice of planned maintenance/migration and tell them you expect better?

I figured that some people searching for a low-end VPS may also look here to see if there are any issues with this VPS provider. In less than 2 years, VPS Hosting Service has twice now shutdown my VPS without warning, each time for greater than 24 hours. Both times, I informed their support that I expected better service.
Wanna share some IP (not yours, but close - same subnet) so we can see where they migrated if ever migrated? :-D

There's NO WAY they didnt know beforehand. That is not something you just wakeup one day and fancy a server data center move for your company.
Right. The more important support response would be after you told them you never received advance notice. Did they say they'd do better or acknowledging the need for advance notice?
I've been using their service for a while now, and unfortunately, I've had several frustrating experiences with uninformed maintenance. Just recently, as I was about to cancel the service, they responded to my ticket, promising to improve their service in the future. Kinda mixed feelings about them. I only continue using their service because it's one of the cheapest VPS providers I've found with monthly payments terms. It's usable, but I can't say it's reliable.
Few years ago I was stupid to get a server from them, it was never activated after making payment, I got refund.
