Or have a different drive filled with Linux ISOs to try and fiddle with, distros i recommend, TempleOS, alpine, elementary, Debian 12, parrot, Zorin, pop, manjaro, kodachi, void, FreeBSD, Slackware, garuda, Gentoo, deepin, endeavor, etc, and the list goes on.
Yup, installing them one by one. But, have no experience with them yet. This is mostly applicable for GUI apps on Windows. Glad that I moved to Linux though, as most of the time for my projects I have had to use either WSL or a VM. This would be much better, I guess.
I did use Xubuntu years ago, and did like it. But, have used Lubuntu more than Xubuntu in the past few years. Hence the choice.
I do plan on adding a SATA SSD or NVMe if I can get a good deal on it soon, to just hold the ISOs and use Ventoy to boot into them. Lubuntu will serve as my permanent daily driver though.
SATA SSD is cheap IMO, try looking for consistent, evm, etc. 512GB is enough i guess, wait ven 256GB is enough.
Page 887 it is go go go

Don't go for cheap brands ๐
Install gentoo ๐
Wait why double quotes ๐ญ๐ญ
Linux mint is also very good btw give it a try
Don't use manjaro use endeavour instead
Just few more comments till page 888 ho go go go
I want to love pop os but they are going more macos style taskbar i prefer windows style ๐
They are good enough for holding my ISOs and backups.
You can always replace the DE, you're a fan of KDE?
If you are not using pop os de then why even go with pop?
Unreliable still, get better your isos deserve better
minimal resource usage..... i am currently using elementaryOS and Zorin so......
Send me a KC3000 then... it's reliable and good.
Are Consistent and EVM good brands? I have only started seeing them online in the past few months.
Will try it later. For now, comfy with Lubuntu.
Using consistent SSD for last two years in a laptop hasn't seen any issues and comes with a 5-year replacement warranty. It's a solid value for money although i won't be using one in my main PC, in my PC it's running the SN580 purchased when it launched and a 980 evo along with 2TB 7200rpm + 1TB 7200rpm(way too old now).
