It's nice to see HostSailor here. I've had many inexpensive VPSs, and in the long run it was the VPSs from them that somehow turned out the be the most reliable ones.
From this new stack, I managed to get one and I have had connectivity issues for now (like some others). However, in my experience Hostsailor have always been quick and professional in tackling technical issues. I hope it will be sorted out completely soon.
Anyway, this was an amazing deal, and congratulations to everyone who got it. Too bad I was late for purchasing a second!
I paid on the 12th, my invoice number is 390633, but the order in my account was only there for a while, and disappeared after a few hours. Now I can't see the task order information.

I did end up doing a reinstall, and now my vps is back online. I had already added an IPv6 address in SolusVM, and the reinstalled vps had IPv6 configured for that address, too.
I guess the advice is, at least for Debian 12, not to use the "reconfigure networking" function in SolusVM. Either update the networking manually, or reinstall if you don't mind losing your current installation.
The support team for Node 06 replied to the ticket stating that IPv6 has been assigned, but only IPv4 appears under the network tab in the backend, and the IPv6 subnet is not visible. I opened another ticket.
This is what it looks like for me. Clicking on "Manage" under IPv6 subnets brings up the larger screen where you can "Add IP."

Hi guys, I come back with the daily YABS:
Didn't have monitoring on it, but have used it for hours on end the last days, no downtime when I was using it, so I can't complain. I did the almalinux trick with Virtio network adaptor, running Debian 12.
My review, although the network is sometimes unstable, but for a VPS with this price it is very good, I have made tickets several times for help and the response is always good and fast, even on Sundays they still reply to my ticket for IPv6 request, thank you Hostsailor

How does the netboot image work? I mount it, change the boot order to CD - HDD and reboot, but then my VPS won't boot anymore. HTML5 VNC isn't working as well.
Make sure your browser is not blocking it as pop-up
Did you get a popup window that displays a green bar or red error at the top?
@emperor it's opening the pop up but it shows an error.
@wadhah yeah. In SolusVM the VPS shows as offline as well.

I had the same problem until I read this. My guess is that they didn't copy over ISOs to the new node, and when selecting a (non-existing) ISO on Proxmox it makes the VM unbootable.
Seems to be the same deal on SolusVM.
Otoh, they promptly replied to my low priority ticket to activate IPv6. Hopefully they will assign a /64 by default in the future. This would save them a handful of tickets.

The network routing to my home fiber isn't great.
Manila, PH 300.50 ms N/A 0.43 Mbps 178.34 Mbps PLDT - ManilaMTR shows it taking the long route across two oceans, adding about 100ms to what the latency should be. If I route through my vps in Hong Kong I can get a direct route to Europe, about 190ms vs 290ms. My use for this vps is as a standby server, though, so when I need it most, that won't be available.
During off-peak times, or if I get just the right IPv6 route over wireguard, latency sometimes drops to around 240ms, but still routing through the US to Europe, as far as I can tell.
